I am honestly both baffled and horrified. I thought I’ve seen it all. These posts aren’t even anything I dug around for. Just three of the newest posts in the subreddit.

These girls must have low self esteem and depression (one already said she did).
The amount of red flags, controlling, manipulative and over all selfishness.
One girl didn't want to use pronouns because she didn't get the "green light", meaning he probably would REEEEE. Then goes on to say she's monogamous but he wants dick. Translation he's not transgender he has a fetish of being a girl fucked by a guy.

The second girl, she's dating someone who doesn't ever want to leave the house and she has to cancel plans so she can be alone with them. She's planning her entire life around one persons issues, I'm sure the FTM needs constant validations and reassurance to get them through the day. I'm exhausted just thinking about what she has to go through.

And the poor girl in the last one her psyche is probably broken forever.

The solution is simple. Leave them, divorce them, move on. This seems like such toxic relationships but these women love and they care, but if you have to change your own morals and values to please someone else (who will never be happy or satisfied) move the fuck on.

Isn't that incredibly rare? And I also don't hear any of the LGBTQ+ lobby talking about those particular people and what rights they have. It seems to be exclusively about the standard genetic male or female pulled into the trans lobby/trans medical industry. And then sitting back and watching the suicides go up after a lifetime of money is dumped into Big Pharma and the Medical system.

It is incredibly rare. And yeah, troons really only bring up DSDs as a way to (poorly) argue that sex is not binary, but a spectrum. "if this XY person is a woman, why can't this medically normal/healthy tranny be a woman??"

This is a stupid argument because sex is distinct from sex based characteristics.

Sex based characteristics flow downhill from sex, not vice versa. An individual might have a disorder that affects their sex characteristics (malformed genitalia, maybe breast growth or unusual height or muscle), and it might make identifying their true sex more difficult. But you can't artificially modify sex based characteristics and have that somehow change sex itself.

Stretching a woman's legs out to a male typical height won't make her male.

It's also very dehumanizing to people with these conditions because the troons are somewhat low key (or sometimes explicitly) implying that people with these conditions are hermaphrodites or "in betweens". They're not. They're either male or female with some kind of disorder. And troonery has nothing to do with these disorders.

Hopefully you can see how these women feel like the bottom just fell out of their lives, and the way they struggle to cope is to try to adapt to it because it would be so hard to start over again.

I think you're generally correct except the reality is more modern. These aren't handsome picturesque couples with the husband dealing in finance and the wife being a SAHM while both of them work on building a bed-and-breakfast chain for retirement. Every now and then a photo of one of these power couples gets dropped and it's always a gangly Aspergers-looking man with permanent creepstare and a blobby gremlin-faced pigwoman covered in butterfly tattoos.

A normal woman with a normal family situation might react they way you laid out, being overwhelmed at the prospect of basically giving the last decade of her life a mulligan and starting from square one dating as a 40 year old single mother, but imo she's just as likely to say, "fuck you I'm taking the kids to my parents, my lawyers will be in contact" or start planning an 'accident' to get his life insurance (rightfully tbh).

These redditor women are different, I think the third story is a good example, the poor woman that checks herself into a nuthut and is apologetic that she had such a bad (implied 'transphobic') reaction. When these women see the man they promised to love forever being worn as a skinsuit by some perverted sissy demon they get the same creeped-out gut feeling we all do, but they've been chanting "TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN" online for years by now and, at least in the beginning, feel a sense of profound moral sacrifice by putting in The Work and trying to unlearn their internalized transphobia and rejoicing in their partner's newly found True Self.

Obviously this soon wears off, especially when the husband starts claiming he needs to be used as a gangbang cum-dumpster to truly feel like a real woman, but I think this explains why so many of these redditor women don't leave immediately, and even why some seem to enjoy the brief attention they get as the righteous wife of a transwoman which directly connects them to the holy LGTBQP+ cause.
