MyDeathSpace.com - basically kiwis if we only stalked dead normies and thought that was normal

"Cyberghouls" is the correct term. These people are obsessed with death. They remind me of a junior Richard Ramirez, sleeping in graveyards to be closer to the dead.

I will never stop being surprised by what you guys can dig up.
Cyberghouls, lol. You made me spit my water out laughing.
Let's dox them all and send their posts to their employers.
Yes, lets.

You'd think a site which charges $20 a year for their premium membership would upgrade their technical shit.

I'm seeing a lot of criticism of us, but they don't really seem interested in Julie herself to any great extent.

Their thread is the 4th result on Google and it has her manner of death stated in the thread title. If the family actually gave a shit, they might find that a wee bit more upsetting than the preview of our thread.

Poor Julay.

Even in death, she's snubbed by a bunch of necrophiliacs.

Nobody even added "LOL DEAD" to the OP. That's pretty classy as around here goes.

You see, the moral high ground goes to the people who talk about someone after they die because they get to be the Monday morning quarterback on the subject. I think it's hilarious that MDS thinks what they do is somehow better than what we do. All they're really doing is passing judgment on someone they've never met to feel better about themselves, which is basically trollshielding with corpses. What a great service to humanity they are providing by ensuring the grieving family and friends (who actually knew the people they post threads about) have to see a bunch of weirdos discussing their loved ones in Google results.

Any website which relies on "at least we're not kiwifarms.net/reddit/SomethingAwful/the chans" to establish the moral high ground knows they have none.

It's not even naivete. They have members who've come from places like Rotten and Ogrish, so they're well aware of what's out there.

I don't find what they do offensive. Just don't try to dress it up as some kind of community service when you're pointing and laughing at the dead retards rather than the living ones.

But those people are meeeaaaan and we just circlejerk about how reading strangers' obits is not weird at all. /MDS

Seriously, I'm kind of surprised a site like MDS exists, seems like an... obscure interest, to say the least.

There are a ton of sites like them. The main difference seems to be that initially they focused on dead MySpacers whereas similar sites tended to have a broader focus from the get-go.

They're a bunch of weirdos who stalks dead people who can't come back at them. Plus, it gives them the 'community service' feeling, the 'look at how good I am! I'm spending hours of my life 'praising' the dead! lol I deserve a place on heaven!'
At least we mock people who can get back haha!

I've been reading some of their longer threads and they're pretty much the same as any other online community. Lots of wild speculation based on little evidence and lots of criticism of "people of interest" based on sweet fuck all.

They seem to research stuff at a very shallow level. They seem far more interested in their own commentary than in any facts they might be able to unearth - which might explain why their threads get horribly derailed and they seem unable to get them back on track.

Here's a long thread in which someone connected to the events makes an appearance.

What's this I see? It couldn't be the "r" word being thrown around on MDS, could it (to a person who is clearly mentally ill, no less)?

Lol I checked their website out at least a decade ago. I actually spent a couple of drunken hours of morbid fascination of seeing young people like that who were dead and left all of that shit online for eternity (also some of the weird ass ways some died)

It was just like, profiles on them and how they died there was no commentary or threads or anything like that it was almost the same layout as like, blog entries or actual obits but then I saw a link to their message board and first topic I click?

Necros.

I went from a contemplative existentialist look at life and death and the meaning of what we leave behind to "Urgh fucking internets" real quick.

I can't believe that site is still around. Well, actually, I can, but yeah

Oh I forgot to mention but they hotpocketed it or something I think so be aware, there's a girl on there called daisylane, when I was asking them why they're all weird cyberghoul freaks she was the only one who acted like a reasonable human being and gave an understandable reason for being there and she seems like a genuinely nice person.

Dox her last.

There was one that answered my question like a reasonable human being as well, named Marshmallow.
