Trump to be arrested by NY DA Tuesday March 21,2023

It seems there's more of a debate over the nothingburger trump is being pursued for rather than if it's a nothingburger itself, which everyone seems to agree on.

I think this is gonna be the next russiagate, get all the cat ladies on twitter hyped up for Trump in a cell and then nothing ends up happening
this is NYC and the jury will be made up of those cat ladies. Trump will be convicted. then appeal all the way up to the supreme court, which will overturn the conviction. the point of this charade is to handicap Trump in 2024.

Minority report: they'll try and voir dire an entire jury of hood niggers, thinking that urban blacks will convict the rich white man, not realising that NYC blacks fucking love the Don and aspire to his gold-plated-everything lifestyle.

Sometimes people are bought to court not really to defend the charges that are minor but to open the door to a more serious matter waiting in the wings. I think these minor charges are bait and a trap being laid out for something else in the pipeline.

Even a conviction on these charges would not bring the demise of Donald J. Trump.

This is true, Lavell Crawford was right. Trump is the actual nigger president, Obama was just pretending.

meh you're probably right, but who else are the republicans gonna run (if desandwich doesn't)? Nikki Haley? Pompeo? Bolton? GOP voters are sick of the GWB era party and most conservatives have 180'd on their pro-war stances from 20 years ago, they're never going back to that.

Why Biden should follow the Gerald Ford precedent

By Michael Nadler

I’ve not heard this from anyone, but it occurs to me that the best political and personal move for Biden would be to follow the Gerald Ford precedent and grant a full pardon to Donald Trump. Although Trump is currently under indictment in a state court, Biden could pardon him for alleged federal campaign law violations and any other federal offenses that might allow DA Bragg to use a minor state infraction on which the statute of limitations has expired.

While the Trump haters on the left would be furious, the pardon would be from prosecution for exceedingly weak charges that will ultimately result in exoneration, and which meanwhile are a rallying cry for Trump supporters and others who just care about equal justice. It would also allow Biden to make the ridiculous claim that he is a uniter, which might help him with independents (and the far left would vote for him against a Republican in any case).
I really doubt then Bush and Obama will defend Trump unless Trump spill some beans about them.

What if Bush and Obama defended Trump?

By David Zukerman

Have you seen a legal expert commenting on the likely circus of the Trump voir dire? Where is public opinion on putting Mr. Trump in the dock? Unless the district attorney and judge have conspired to deny Mr. Trump an impartial jury, one would think that Biden voters (and Biden got nearly 90% of the Manhattan vote) would be excluded for cause, along with readers of The New York Times (all the anti-Trump propaganda we deem fit to print), and consumers of the broadcast, cable, and social media outlets available in Manhattan, all of whom are heavily biased against Mr. Trump.
Simply stated, anyone who claims that Donald J. Trump can get a fair trial in Manhattan either needs to have his head examined — or is guilty of perjury.
Debra Heine at American Greatness, April 3, noted that Trump-supporters greeted the former president's arrival at his Manhattan residence with cries of "We Love Trump." The Trump loyalists had better be careful that they not be arrested and charged with obstruction of justice.

The very fact of the arraignment is proof positive that Republicans are not taken seriously by the Deep Staters because they don't expect to be taken seriously. The House Republican leadership, weeks ago, should have taken resolute action against the anti-Constitution Democrats with the adoption of resolution after resolution of censure against the Democrat purveyors of lies directed at MAGA patriots and, certainly, of the Manhattan district attorney.
Where, pray tell, is the House finding that under federal law, Mr. Trump is entitled to lifetime Secret Service protection, and thus, by statute, immune from incarceration? Where is the House protest petition setting forth the prejudicial reality in Manhattan, due to a politically biased population infected with the lies of the media, and concluding that not only is a fair trial impossible in the Trump matter, but the fact that the former president faces a future as defendant in a criminal case is an affront to the Constitution?

A cliché comes to mind. The silence of former presidents Bush and Obama is deafening (former president Carter being too weak to comment and, likely, former president Clinton too ill). There is nothing in the Former Presidents Act to prevent former presidents from calling on political zealots to cease their assault on a member of the club of former president.

you're assuming the glowniggers would even cooperate with Trump to begin with.

They were doing stupid shit even under his admin, what makes you think they would cooperate with him THIS time?
Fire everyone above middle management, replace them his own people. All of the federal agencies are part of the executive branch.

LMAO. I had a feeling that was going to happen. As soon as he arrived of coarse they were going to throw more charges on him.

I'm guessing they threw everything they could at him in hopes something sticks. Yet again.

Anyone want to place bets that Russian collusion, treason, rape, sexual assault, and all the other bullshit is on there?
Mean tweets?

How these idiots in the MSM and what’s left of “we’ve got him this time” cat lady Twitter don’t understand Donald Trump is basically a more legit version of “King of New York” Frank White is impressive. It takes real Big Brain to energy to not recognize this but somehow they continue to do so.

Really hope if Trump gets re-elected he has the DC equivalent of a reenactment of this scene as one of the first things on his to do list:

You know, in the event Trup wins in 24, I hope he goes after all of them. Biden, Obama, Pelosi, Harris, both Clintons. Appoint Giulianni as Attorney General and put the entire weight of the federal government behind him. FBI, DOJ, IRS, all of it. This is the world they wanted, I hope, if he wins, he gives it to them good and hard.
Agreed. Trump went into his presidency in the stupid assumption they'd all play ball with him. If he ever gets a second shot he should just say fuck your optics and remove the rot.

This would be the wise choice, but I doubt his handlers will let him due to their partisanship.

There is a large swath of people who don't care for Trump, but see this as Banana Republic tier shit and will vote for Trump as "Fuck You" to the system. Biden pardon, whether it does anything at the state level or not, breaks that group of potential Trump voters.

a biden pardon would be the top chess move, because a pardon, though it "removes" any charges/etc would be "he certainly did the bad thing" for most people.

since it could possibly be smart, it won't be done
