Cajun and creole are similar but not the same thing; cajun is white while creole is black (and mixed-race), with creole centering in NOLA and cajun being more rural.
You don't know what you're talking about. Creole is White French food that has influences of Spanish culture as well, with a small West African influence too, gumbo for instance. Nothing about Creole means "mixed race". The determining factor for being New Orleans Creole is being French and living in Louisiana. There are mixed raced Creoles, but they are the minority, but what makes them Creole is the fact that they are French and White. There are zero black Creoles, because if you're 100% black and not mixed race, that means you have no French ancestry, therefore you cannot be Creole. Most of all, Creoles are White individuals of French descent who live in Louisiana. The whole Creole = mixed race or black is a retarded misconception that's equally as stupid and false as saying the moors and egyptians were all black.
Just like Cajun doesn't mean rural or White. Lafayette, LA has over 100k people living there and it's full of Cajuns. Nothing about Cajun means rural. There was a community of Cajuns that lived in New Orleans to work in the oil industry after WW2. There can also be black Cajuns. So once again, you are extremely misinformed. Nothing about Cajun states that you have to specifically be White, you can be black and have a surname that is Cajun in origin, in fact, some blacks in Louisiana do. You won't see many blacks with Creole surnames though, because blacks in New Orleans were a minority until the 1980s, and most of them came from the sticks: either Northern LA or Mississippi/Alabama, places like that. The ones that do have a Creole surname, are extremely light complected, have curly hair, freckles, and are Catholic. For instance, our former "black" mayor, Marc Morial. Their families lived here for over a hundred years.
My entire family is Creole, we all live in N.O. and we are all 1000000% White, the same as the vast majority of Creoles. Even Wikipedia, as bad of a source as it usually is, gets the concept of New Orleans Creoles correct.
I remember one of those "What are you fucking talking about?" moments like this for me was back in the mid-2000s when Chappelle's Show was huge. There was this one bit about how when you go to a white persons place they don't have washcloths for in the shower and instead just use the bar of soap on their dick and balls and then on their face.
Maybe black people just leave out old dirty washrags that the entire family uses. White people typically hang a washrag to dry, then put it with the dirty towels. Then when it's time to shower again, they get a new, fresh, clean washrag out of the closet and use that. Blacks just leave the same dirty, germ infested washrags hanging for weeks. So when they walk in a White person's bathroom and don't see a filthy rag hanging there they'll be like, "Yo, where da rag at bruh? Dey must just scrub they selfs wit the soap bar."
