Probably bullshit but I'd believe it. Disney has been going overboard with the gay Filoni and Ahsoka pandering, and since they're out several directors and writers with one movie cancellation after another,
[rage mode] they're going to reach for the bottom of the barrel and call upon the director of the most overhyped and wooden-looking kids cartoon of the late 2000's to direct their new movies since Assoka simps, Flone Wars nostalgia kiddies, and childless Baby Yeed mothers are the only ones Disney knows are consistently addicted to snorting Filoni-brand cope spice no matter how bad it is, simply because it has cameos of Filoni characters out the wazoo, which makes them horny and triggers nostalgia-induced dopamine overloads which falsely make consoomers believe that they're still kids watching the cartoon for the first time on a saturday morning since they're desperate for their lost youth. Only thing worse are people who unironically consoom Filoni's content because they think he's anti-woke and super conservative despite being involved in TLJ and IX's writing room and being responsible for Luke's emasculation, and yet they're still giving money to him and a company that openly hates them and their ideals. Sometimes addictively watching literal garbage just because you falsely believe its anti-woke is just as bad as watching it solely for BBQ pandering and coomerism. And then there's those who still keep addictively watching on a regular basis despite hating the content and knowing that its garbage and knowing that its not going to get better. Why do this to yourself? Is it because of Doomcock?

For fuck's sake, we just saw Lizzo as a super cosmic queen wearing a Mickey Mouse tiara while educating a poor washed up old man (who Lloyd is wasted on) making empty references to past movies for nostalgia points while Jack Black can barely restrain his desire to laugh. Half the shit Lloyd says isn't even from Disney lore or old lore, either. Not even the planet featured in the episode despite its supposed bullshit importance to the galaxy and the mandos.

Venting over.
Nothing. They always hated it and signed up for the Disney fanbase because of two reasons... 1: they never liked Star Wars that much to begin with and only had mild childhood nostalgia for it 2: they only started getting really into it because of The Flone Wars.
Disney went out of its way to buy Star Wars in order to deconstruct it and make content to satisfy people like Alan Horn, Kennedy and "fans" like Pegg who never liked Star Wars much to begin with and have openly hated it for far longer and far more so than any of the disney wars critics now, which is why its no surprise to me when I saw even the most anti-SW trekkies initially drooling over Disney Wars content. And yet these same people are now trying to adopt the moral high ground despite their open hostility and death threats towards George, his actors and past writers for the prequels and NJO, and yet they have the gall to make hypocritical bullshit like this:
Disney bought a popular boy's brand to appeal to boys, but completely demolished it, then changed it into a girl's brand, then they had some sort of aneurism and changed it again into a brand for Filoni.
This past few pages of back and forths feel like a weird ironic metacommentary on society...
Anyways, just popping in to say that if you haven't listened to the Heir to the Empire trilogy and Hand of Thrawn duology audio books read by Marc Thompson, find a way. High quality production, the guy finds ways to voice almost every character with enough nuance to make them sound distinct, and it has music scores and sound effects that totally enhance the quality of the readings.
To add to this, if anyone wants digital copies, I've got more than enough to spare.
