Yeah. I guess there are several reasons for these high critic scores:

1) This movies doesn't give you cancer. If you watch a movie with the expectation that it will be the worst thing ever, you will pretty much give it a better review when it surprises you even a little. Likewise if you expect a movie to blow your mind and it doesn't you will give it a worse review. (Add 10%)
2) No reviewer wants to have a endless stream of screaming feminists and cucks in their social media stream or in the comments to their review. (Add 5-10%)
3) Sony probably did everything to blow gold up the asses of pre-premiere reviewers. (Add 15%)

Wu is so narrative driven that the shit she says doesn't even make sense.

"For a Thursday? I'd say 3/4 packed"

What does that even mean? If he's said "Pretty good for a Thursday!" or "3/4 packed, but it's a Thursday so less people are out" it would have made sense, but this is just utter nonsense. She also earlier described it as "ridiculously packed" - which again, at a movie theater, where the amount of tickets are limited by the amount of seats available is kind of a stupid thing to say. It's either packed full or it isn't.

Basically this bitch retarded.

Johnny means 3/4 packed for a Thursday.

So like, 4 or 5 people.

I tend to see films on the Thursday after it comes out because I don't like busy cinemas. I want to watch a movie dammit, not listen to your coughing and spluttering or see you updating your Facebook or Twitter.

What do you mean? Lots of people go to the cinema on Thursday!
Not like there's work or school on Friday

It's "emasculate," goddammit, not "demasculinize." This is a made up word she uses a lot.

You'd figure somebody who has literally emasculated themselves in the most extreme way possible and spends the rest of their free time emasculating their dumbass faggot husband would be well aware of this.
What else would you expect from a person who failed to graduate from college three times?

Who in the fuck doesn't like the first Ghostbusters? "Made me feel uncomfortable"? WTF?
Idk anyone who finds it uncomfortable but a lot of people think it hasn't aged well. It's the kind of comedy/whatever a lot of people see for the first time with an older relative who remembers loving it and sometimes it doesn't meet either persons expectations. The Caddyshack syndrome.

It has a 6.5 average on Rotten Tomatoes, but people only check the 'fresh meter'.

I guess anything is a win if you spin it the right way.

That's the confusing part. Thursday (after a premier) or any weekday other then Friday a movie theater won't be super packed at night. When Wu says "For a Thursday? I'd say 3/4 packed," is she ignoring the fact that it's premier day and comparing it to a movie on it's second or third week on a weekday night? Or is she just saying it's 3/4 full in a retarded way?

Regardless, unless we're talking about movie theaters in the sticks I'd assume a gurl pwr movie with a significant hype train that some people at least are vocally enthusiastic over should have a packed premier.

Edit: Oh, Variety says Ghostbusters got a 3.4 million opening night, which is kind of shit if you consider it an action movie but good for a comedy. On the other hand it only need to make back 144 million to recoup costs. Doubt it'll play well in China though.

shoe-leather journalism
which is done by being chauffeured around while you play Pokemon instead of releasing Revolution 60.

I was Ahsoka Tano to his Anakin Skywalker
pretty sure that not only was Ahsoka not born a man, she actually accomplished things. also SPOILER ALERT JOHN, Anakin was seduced by the power of Toxic Masculinity and became more Man than person, twisted and evil.

Each of us was paying $30 an hour to ride with PokégoSafari. But, interestingly, it was a good deal compared to the in-app purchases of Pokémon Go.
the in-app purchases of Revolution 60 are an even better deal, since they don't exist and therefore cost nothing.

SCORE. However, Pokécomplications were quick to dash my dreams. Because the Pokéconomy was such a high-demand sector, I had to book an appointment. Frankly, that’s not the instant gratification I’ve grown to expect, Craigslist.

cringe as shit, also is funny how he mention craiglist considering the monkeys he hired to made R60 came from there

Frank with his mouth open like a retard as always and with a R in his shirt made with duct tape

In all my years as a professional in the game industry

:story:

tl;dr Frank payed 30$ a hour for someone to ride he and John through Boston to capture pokemons or in reality he payed so john did not look like a retard playing alone in the streets and being mistaken by a molester

is like paying for friends

wow very ethics

Couldn't even put some effort in and make the "R" red, could you?

Hiring someone to drive you around so you can play an augmented reality Pokemon game...and here I was thinking those "rich white people" stories were mostly over-exaggerated or made up.

Way to prove me wrong, Wu.

That 144 million doesn't include the cost of ads and promos, so a more accurate price tag is more like $175 -$200 million. It won't play in China, period - they ban films with "supernatural" or "superstitious" themes.
