Not Great, but Not Terrible. What-fucking-ever, I wasn't going to see it, anyway...
There's something about all this SJW - pandering BS that I simply can't stand nor support, even if the movie turned out above average or insanely good to everyone else.

And here I am just replaying the PS3 game. btw, does the new Ghostbusters also get a videogame adaptation?

Someone mentioned it either here or in the Salt thread, but here's the Angry Joe reviews, non-spoilers and spoilers.

My review of the poo:

I saw the movie this morning for free in 3D. It is really bland, it's like plain white toast bland. It's like one of those movies it's just like there and that's it. The movie keeps on shitting on itself and the old movie but keeps on missing. It is also trying to hard to make people laugh but it comes out cringey as hell! It felt like the Everythingisterrible.com or Cringe Channel logo was going to pop up somewhere in the film. The story was different than the two other Ghostbusters films. It was almost like the first film but not by much. Story is the most blandest part of the film. The actors were ok and nothing to write home about. The movie thinks every man is an asshole and/or dumb. Yes, the Ghostbusters logo comes to life in the end for no reason at all. The only good thing I can say about it was the 3D was good.

There was about 12 or 13 people in the first showing plus me. This was the first 3D showing of the day. Nobody walked out from what I saw and I was shocked. I wanted to walk out about one hour into the film but didn't. Some people did laugh but it was mostly sighs. I was going to film some of this but there was too many people there than what I though there was going to be! I bet this movie will make it's money back at least.

Apparently it's already made $45-50 million, which undershot what Sony expected. My predictions are that it will probably eke out a profit (a small profit if any profit at all) in the box office but the merchandise is still a wash. Likely will not get a sequel greenlit.

The best I've been hearing from online critics is that the movie is a solid "meh", with some (like Brad Jones) going so far to say it's a rental at best. Without the Chinese market to boost the ticket sales and apparently floundering merchandise sales, I think we could be looking at a Dredd situation. For those unaware, the last Judge Dredd adaption was well liked by the people who saw it, but failed to appeal to larger audiences and didn't earn enough for a sequel.
