I wish reality was more funny. It'd be funnier if it turned out chelsea OD'd lacey and told everyone it was her. Then assumed her identity and continued munching. That way there would still be a death certificate and lacey was never given the drug that gives false positives for SPS so she could get the test as lacey and have it come back positive and usher in the smug vindicated arc

Someone will inevitably produce the death certificate; we must keep the thread open for that glorious moment.
Plus I think Lacey has potential. She is a munchie in her own right and she has been exhibiting peculiar behaviour...I think she is worth watching for a while longer.

Here are the instructions for getting a non-certified death certificate in Minnesota. Anyone can order one. However, it may take a couple of months for it to be available.

Edit: The required information is her full name, DOB, date of death, and county where she died. Does anyone know her middle name?

Here's my theory: Whether Lacey accidently or intentionally OD'd Chelsea, Chelsea was a very public social media persona who is now dead. I can see where Lacey would want to direct attention away from herself and her actions and towards the evil, uncaring medical system. Nothing to see here folks.......look over there!
An autopsy would have to be ordered by a medical examiner or coroner. If they have no reason to be suspicious about a medication seeking malingerer possibly ODing, no autopsy would be ordered. The family would have to pay out of their own pockets for an autopsy and that can cost thousands of dollars.
My guess is Chelsea will be cremated and her memorial service will be held. If anyone asks about the autopsy results the family can claim they were inconclusive or they can accuse the evil, uncaring medical system of conspiring to have Chelsea cremated before they could obtain an independent autopsy.
Hopefully from that point Lacey and her mother will go on with their lives away from social media and munchies.
