He thinks he's a special case because he's the only person who's ever been discriminated against because of a facial deformity. He's blissfully unaware that the reason most people who've heard of him think he's a raving lunatic is because they've read his own words. In other words, he explained himself, and because of that explanation people think he's insane.If someone does get involved in a lawsuit it's almost always going to involve medical bills gotten from being in a collision. Because in order to get money from most insurance companies, at least in my state, is by suing the driver of the other car and then your own insurance company.
But most people will go through life without even that much exposure to the legal system. Which is a good thing, because lawsuits - even personal injury ones that almost always settle out of court - are incredibly stressful and take far longer than anyone likes.
Edit: actually most people are more likely to get a divorce, which isn't quite a lawsuit but also isn't quite not a lawsuit.
