Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

K.A. Applegate supports troonery and her child is trans. She's admitted this on her website, and has been vocal in trans issues since. However, few remember Animorphs. More remember Harry Potter for its raw cultural impact.
Despite it's cultural impact being nowhere near on the level of Harry Potter, I will still defend the honor of Animorphs as a good children's series in it's own right, because unlike retarded troons, I am capable of enjoying media created by people I disagree with.

It is surprisingly compelling fiction. I never read it as a child, though. I inherited a bunch of them and after suspending my disbelief at how retardedly written they are at times, found them to be pretty alright books with a solid story. You could do a lot worse.

I actually like Harry Potter a lot, so I fully expect WB to fistfuck this series with weird shit and ruin any expectations I have. These goddamn companies cannot help themselves.

I once mentioned that GRRM didn't get as much hate as JKR for his shit solely because he's male.
Honestly, in the current year, it doesn't matter what you write about in your books or adapt in your shows. What really matters is what you say on soc media afterwards. You can literally write nothing but rape (aka the famous Gretchen) but if you say the right words, your works are "empowering". Or you can write something with a story, believable characters, and actually well-done "representation" but if you dared to say the wrong words, you are Nazi and worse than Hitler. By now, for anyone who would like to maintain some creative independence the best option would be to keep off soc media entirely.

Main HBO guy doesn't care and says the conversation is "very online", the seething is going to be wild.

There's some nice seethe in the comments now too. (archive)

Seethe comments:
Lol Zaslav is making Bloys make this show and nobody is going to watch it, because the hardcore fan HP base all grew up to be angry and Rowling for her transphobia, and everyone else has already seen the movies or read the books, or both. This is going to make the Amazon Lord of the Rings debacle look like a blockbuster.
Yeah, just look at the dismal sales of Hogwarts Legacy! Oh, wait.

They’re about to find out that a lot of real people are “Very online” and well aware that JK Rowling isn’t just a transphobe, she’s actively campaigning for the dehumanization of people we know and love.

Since Sophie From Mars is finally getting the recognition he so richly deserves in the Tranny Sideshows thread, here's a tweet of him sharing his own personal Harry Potter headcanon that he definitely didn't jerk off to.

So how did Hermione ever make it into the girls' dorm? You know, the one where the stairs becomes a slide if any male tries to go up? Do you have to just identify as a girl to get past that?

She didn't have to worry, because she was 100% female. These troons are taking their delusions to entirely new levels, trying to re-write a story they claim to despise.

They'll probably try to argue that it's because trans women are really real women and that somehow the stairway works on a self ID system like women's prisons in overly liberal areas.
They won't take into account that the school was founded over 1,000 years ago when wizards would, like their muggle counterparts, see transgenderism as some sort of sickness or degeneracy and would very likely have based the stairway on biology instead of mental illness.

This is also ignoring the fact wizards have multiple ways to turn themselves into other people. That thing would know if some kid brewed up a polymorph potion in a bathroom in order to sneak into the girls' bedrooms.

More cope.

I'm not even a fan of the franchise, but I am definitely a fan of creators retaining control of their creations.

Imagine how fucked J.K. Rowling would be if she hadn't retained complete control of her properties.

As it is, she has fuck you money, and specifically, FUCK TROONS money.

Ok I thought this was a little bit funny, irritated troons are talking about some panels from Alan Moore's more recent League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics that include a parody of Harry Potter, and act like this is some kind of genius takedown of the Rowling.

'And this was before she went truly crazy with the comments' you know like that utterly mental, truly insane thing where she said that she supports trans people broadly but has some concerns about creeps trying to identify their way into women's spaces, what a crazy woman!

but I just thought this was extra funny when you look at the actual page they are talking about:

Yep, the extent of Alan Moore's genius takedown of Rowling and Harry Potter is 'Lol, wouldn't it be funny if Harry Potter did a school shooting with magic and raped a teacher?', like I won't deny it's funny and that Alan Moore's grouchy old man edgelordism is funny generally, but its barely even The Boys level commentary let alone a meaningful critique of anything.

Aim high Troons!
