If he was a whistleblower he'd have at least attempted to get the documents out publicly, either through the press, or at least something like /pol/ or Twitter etc rather than a private Discord. So does anyone know the full story on this leak? My impression is it was a retard being retarded for updoots on discord. But other people are saying he's a whistle-blower or some shit, and others that he wanted to help Russia.
Similarly if he wanted to do it to help Russia, he'd have done it publicly, or at least given them to one of the pro Russian twitter/telegram handles. Kinda curious why people think this was done to help Russia, and how it does. I mean if they showed numbers that meant the US thought Ukraine was losing or something then it would make sense, but showing they're actually doing okay, and disproving Russia's blatant lies about casualty numbers doesn't seem like they'd be that helpful to Russia imo.
Personally I don't think they do. The non-shooped numbers line up fairly well with some of the OSINT estimates we've seen, which at least personally I've been basing most of my assumptions off of, given both Ukraine and Russia have every reason in the world to fudge numbers in their direction, and those numbers suggest Ukraine is doing okay all things considered. From the standpoint of this thread, may I respectfully inquire if the leaked documents spell certain doom for the Ukraine? First time caller, long time listener. I'll take my response off the air. Buh-bye.
