2) And if they do get F-16s, they'll be getting the shittiest ones possible with nothing modern, like the 1980s Abrams with new armor removed
3) And if F-16s are FINALLY approved, it will take six months to train
4) This means IF they get them, it won't be for a year, at least.
5) And if they go into combat they will likely get fucked merked by modern AA because Ukraine has no fucking advanced radar because its pilots are getting murdered by WWII ambush tactics.

1) not publicly you are right but wait until August to October based upon what talk in DC is.
2) they will be getting the ones that are the least modernized but will still be capable of everything I described in regards to deploying stand off munitions
3) they already started training Ukro pilots on F-16's at a joint US/British bases in early March, the entire defense industry is currently prepping to restock components of F-16 and weapons systems they intend to transfer. Also Ukraine currently preparing training program for pilots in US.
4) It will likely be around October for transfer at earliest but they may announce if Ukraine has some major PR victory or if they get pushed into crisis
5) Ukraine doesn't need any radar on the ground with F-16 because American AWACS flying in Poland can pipe all that shit right into it which will also be far better info than what is gathered by individual aircraft's sensors and Russia cannot target AWACS for obvious reasons.

Ultimately our ruling elite has 2 choices to either keep giving Ukraine more and more advanced weapons or admit defeat so they will either already have F-16's or have surrendered by this time next year. They have currently run out of most shit like IFV's and Javelins they have sitting around. Next they will run through stocks of heavier more advanced IFV's like Bradleys and NATO tanks and finally they will have to start giving them mass blocks of aircraft if they want to keep this bullshit continuing. They are slow walking this entire war to the last Ukrainian because they are after another Russian Afghanistan scenario with an attrition defeat of soviets. They don't give a fuck if country is fought to last Ukrainian body and single standing building. Either Russia wins or Russia will eventually face F-16 fighter jets.

I'm curious how that would work. That sounds like some advanced tech where a lot of things can go wrong. And if it's used improperly like the Javelins were it might get destroyed pretty quickly.

I am curious about AWACS as I'm not familiar with it. When was it last effectively used? And what were the real world results?
