LanceVideos gave comment to the Daily Beast, in which he claims Nick tried to get him to cover it up in exchange for a job:
The eggplant-emoji screenshot gained new circulation in far-right circles in 2022, as Alexander and Fuentes achieved prominence as members of West’s entourage. That’s when, Johnston claims, Fuentes asked him to say in a text message to Alexander that the screenshot had been doctored and apologize. Presumably, that text message could then itself be screenshotted and used to discredit Johnston.
“Nick personally asked me to apologize to Ali for supposedly faking the messages,” Johnston said.
But Johnston insists the eggplant screenshot is legitimate. In exchange for disowning the eggplant exchange, according to Johnston, Fuentes and Alexander offered to get him a job in politics.
“Basically they wanted me to lie, apologize to Ali, and then they said they would try to get me a job,” Johnston said.
Fuentes denied Johnston’s claims about him in an email to The Daily Beast.
“I never offered Lance Johnston a job nor did I urge him to disavow that screenshot,” Fuentes wrote.

Anyway @HeyU if Nick was not lying, and Milo did book a hotel room with a single bed and expected to share it with Nick, that is literally gay as fuck and pretty weird. And that would explain why Nick didn't want to pay him back either. Nick has said in the past that he idolized Milo and that Milo was sort of the main public figure that redpilled him in 2015/16 aside from /pol/ on 4chan. I think Nick initially met Milo back in 2019, maybe even 2018, and they've known each other since then, but obviously the Kanye stuff in the past year was the first time they truly worked together. If Milo booked a room and tried to share a bed with Nick, basically trying to fuck him, and Nick genuinely isn't gay or wanting to do that, then I could see it being a huge blow to Nick and just depressing when someone you actually looked up to as being an intelligent person turns out to be another gay faggot.

Nick's profile is such that it seems like he can't trust anyone, but he also doesn't really have the political skill and acumen to do things on his own.

Agreed, it’s totally weird. But after watching Milo and his debate with Destiny and hearing he was walking around Kanye’s office w/no pants on, I think maybe Milo lives in LaLa land, does a whole lot of hard drugs and has just become completely ungrounded, lost all common sense or any concept of social norms (and I think Milo’s probably someone whose never had a lot of common sense to begin with, he prefers a world of extremes and everything over-the-top).
In the past, Milo has said he thinks Nick is gay and later walked it back, but I think he’s always subconsciously assumed Nick to be gay, so I think that also may have been part of why he figured Nick wouldn’t mind the sleeping arrangement, figured it’s just 2 friends sleeping in a bed together. (Yes, gay guys can share a bed together as friends, at least, my gay male friends do, all the time). Or maybe Milo really did want to fuck him, who knows. But either way, Milo badly misread Nick by thinking he’d be cool with sharing a bed.
I personally think Nick is gay, just not gay for Milo lol. Just because he’s gay doesn’t mean he wants to fuck every man under the sun.
I‘m also getting the sense that Milo may sometimes have trouble respecting or understanding boundaries. Like he’s kind of pushy and overbearing, gets in your space, etc. which, for some people, is no big deal, but to someone like Nick, I think that’s really off-putting. I think, at his core, Nick is a sensitive person - gets anxious in public, little things ppl say and do that most ppl wouldn’t think much of are a big deal to him, panic attacks, has a hard time letting things go, etc. So, when dealing with someone like Milo, who is constantly in your space, in your face, larger than life and quickly tries to push trust/closeness/intimacy, Nick’s guard is gonna go way up.
And yes, I think Nick is one of those ppl that’s a really good talker, but is lazy and ultimately kind of clueless about how to get anything done. He’s a talker, not a doer.

@tantric_depressive Nick never said Milo tried to drug him for sex. he said Milo offered him Percoset when he had a headache, which then lead to the conversation about why he has the scrip in the first place (apparently, to drug himself whenever he’s tempted to have sex with his husband, which he told the group is often). EDIT: nm, you’re right, apparently he’s now accusing Milo of that. This is getting absurd!

As for Fuentes, I believe he did say Milo tried to drug him when he called into Clodfelted's show. Or maybe it was Brittany's? I can't remember, but he did say it. I'm not sure if anybody clipped it.

The whole article is all over the place jumping between past events and irrelevant side stories it is an infuriating estimated 15 minute read. Unsure why despite the claims and quotes from texts that are reportedly saved they are not put into the article. Or why the podcast which is cited as the source of Aidan's remarks is left without a citation. It claims that:
  • "The reason I’m doing this is because he used my name,” Yiannopoulos told The Daily Beast.
  • In 2017 Aidan Duncan who was 15 sent nude photos to Ali, 32 at the time, according to Aidan's testimony on an unnamed podcast in March 2023
  • In 2019 Ali messages a 17 year old Lance Johnston. Ali said, "Show me ur [eggplant emoji]". Johnston blocked Ali as a result.
  • A friend releases the creepy texts and Ali claims they are doctored.
  • Nick is made away of the creepy texts and sides with Ali
  • Johnston claims Nick wanted him to apologize for faking the messages

I read somewhere that sexual harassers tend to not only be oblivious to the feelings of others, but uninterested in the feelings of others, as well and that combination is what makes them able to do what they do without any shame. Ali’s dismissive annd unrepentant attitude about all this seems in line with that.
