I can't legally give you anything more than a "just trust me bro" level of proof, but the US/West has thrown/is throwing the full weight of their MI and surveillance apparatus at Ukraine, including the entire spy satellite network.

His unit was using T-55 and a fresh crew forgot to reverse the turret when crossing a ditch, resulting in the gun breech embedding itself in the rear part of the turret. It tore off cleanly. On the other instance, the crew of a ZSU-23-4 Shilka forgot to put the gun barrels in neutral position (horizontally) and tried to drive into a concrete hangar like that. Destroyed all four barrels and put the vehicle commander into ten years of extra service. 80s were wild.
