just had a thought - in Sikhism, Singh is an exclusively male surname, and more of a title; family names are matronymic, so a woman marrying a Sikh man would take his mother's family name rather than being called Singh herself
this is of course assuming the wedding was a traditional one (and in my experience, Sikhs are very keen on tradition)

It was recounted on an early episode of NPS (sadly, no archive). Boomia said he was in Milwaukee, went to a Brewers game and bought a hat, then found himself at Hoolie's. He ran into Pat and started talking baseball with him.

Shame that the podcast was deleted (although I'd like to think it's just Dan doing a bit), it would be interesting to hear what interacting with Pat is actually like in his natural habitat and without previous knowledge of his online persona.
