So after completely banning everything from Harry Potter they are now "soft" banning AI.
The first is already a big deal for the entertainment scene in general and now that Hogwarts Legacy is a runaway success it's presence will prolly be cemented even more on the gaming world widening the stuff they need to pretend don't exist, Warner just announced a Quidditch game lol.
But with the AI stuff, this is big BIG, they are straight up trying to ignore reality here, hard times ahead for the regular resetera creature.

ResetEra, A forum with a high population of digital artists and creators, should be collaborating on ideas and projects to harness and exploit this fascinating and disruptive new technology, not retreating further into their hugbox and quarantining discussion to a single thread. AI is the most exciting and progressive new tech for decades in terms of creativity and already makes the old methods feel laborious and stale. To pretend it doesn't exist is career suicide if you're in an industry already being transformed by these tools.

Real talk. If you want to get more women through apps these days:

1. Stop being fat
2. Know how to converse with a woman online. This includes:
- not sounding like a trainwreck
- asking interesting open ended questions about the person you're chatting with
- stay engaged but go slow
3. Have genuine interests that you're passionate about that aren't just sitting in your house all day playing Vidya

All things resetera is incapable of doing

Being "Nice" is lowkey speak for being "creepy" - everyone (not just women) hate people that come across as fake and insincere.

Yeah they make it sound like meeting someone is some herculean thing and it's not.

I'm hardly a chad and I've been happily married for over 10 years after meeting my wife in fucking World of Warcraft. Just don't be a weirdo and engage people who are in the same hobbies or spaces as you. I'm not especially good looking, in generally not great shape and have mild tourettes syndrome to deal with on top of all that and I still found a great woman willing to be with me. So these people are either truly abominable to be around or are just not putting in any effort and expect a woman to fall into their laps like in their favourite anime.

AI in areas of data analysis and medicine is fine, definitely no billionaire funded race to the bottom there, nope. No one's job will be displaced at all.

has nepenthe always been an admin? pretty its goal (is it pretending to be a black dude or chick now?) is to drive the sites traffic to zero as a bizarre revenge against the new moba owners, but I also assume they just don't give a shit about the site and just collecting ad money to pay off the purchase price and after that its just an asset in their porfolio they hope to sell to a bigger sucker.

i do wonder how much the mods and admins are paid and if its in cash or something like doge coin or MOBA bux lol

I think nepenthe was promoted to admin somewhat recently, maybe in the last year. afaik she hasnt mentioned pretending to be a man much, i think she just waffles back and forth based on whatever is most advantageous for the situation.
