I wonder if this "unhealthy obsession" is related to the sheer amount of money given to Ukraine and many countries having gas and food prices skyrocket and told to "grin and bear it" for the war effort?

At this point I want Russia to win just for the sheer pleasure of watching the G7 countries trying to shift the blame like a hot potato. Of course, right now we are looking at a quagmire that can either stretch for decades or a lukewarm peace that is going to be constantly broken and will be considered a loss by every participant to the conflict, but a boy can dream. And since we are dreaming, I also want G. R. R. Martin to finish ASOIAF before he croaks, and a pony. Right now the chances of any of the three happening are about equal.

How many soldiers does the Ukraine have left? Maybe there will be a situation where they literally run out of men to fight.
