Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

Remember Bridger Walker, the kid who saved his little sister from a dog attack (supposedly a German Shepherd), took most of the damage and became universally praised as a self sacrifice hero, and paraded around like a Little Wrestling Champion and future UFC champ because he took on the dog?

They gave him a goddamn Certified™ bloodsport bloodline shitbull.

Because you know, OOGA BOOGA TOUGH MAN GET TOUGH DOGS

CPS should take children away from parents who own pitbulls. We know that won't happen, because CPS isn't worth salt to begin with, plus CPS just takes kids away if they parent's AREN'T abusing them these days.

A 22 year old man in Brooklyn Center MN has died from injuries sustained in a pibble pack attack. He was caring for the 4 dogs for the day as a favor to a family member.

CPS is more likely to take kids away for being kept away from troon brainwashing at school.

RESET THE CLOCK

I think we went an entire week this time.

Minnesota man mauled, killed by four pit bulls in deadly attack

A Minnesota man, Dezmond R. Thomas Trawick, 22, was playing with his older brother's four pit bulls when he was involved in a deadly attack by the dogs, leaving him with "extensive bites," and he died one hour later in the hospital.

Thomas Trawick's family relayed that he was watching his older brother's four pit bulls, but that his brother doesn't live at the Brooklyn Center home. Thomas Trawick was at his house, Thursday, in his backyard with the dogs when the attack took place.

Jerry Nelson, Thomas Trawick's neighbor was interviewed by Fox 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul, describing the scene he had witnessed as the four dogs brutally attacked the 22-year-old.

"I've been messed up all day today," he stated.

Nelson settled in Minnesota after he fled Liberia due to a civil war taking place. He explained what he saw in Liberia, but tried to express the shock he felt after witnessing four dogs attacking a man, which was something that he couldn't comprehend.

"I saw during the civil war people shooting people, but I come here, and I see, you know, pets – they're supposed to be man's best friend – attacking – and yeah, I just saw – it's terrible – can't forget that."

He said that he saw Thomas Trawick tossing a tennis ball to the four dogs in his backyard.

"I thought they were playing, you know, jumping on him, and I was like, ‘Hey, you need help?’ And then he looked at me. He's like, you know, fighting them off. He's like, you know – kind of hesitated. But then it got really serious. He's like, ‘Yeah, can you come here? Can you come help me?’"

Nelson relayed that he called 911, during the attack. He began throwing rocks and sticks at the dogs to try and get them off of Thomas Trawick.

"I mean, those are big, giant, dogs and I couldn't get them off of him," said Nelson.

He expressed how the thought of Thomas Trawick dying didn't cross his mind as he called for 911 to help save his neighbor.

"It was horrible calling because I – I never envisioned that. All I knew that he was hurt and needed help and he was going to come back. But, you know, death wasn't even on my mind."

Brooklyn Center Police Department said they received a call around 12:45 that afternoon. Once police arrived to the house, they shot a nonlethal round that hit one of the pit bulls, leading all the dogs to head back into Thomas Trawick's house.

He suffered from "extensive bites" and most of his clothing was torn from the dogs, according to police.

Thomas Trawick was intubated and immediately taken to North Memorial Health Hospital where he died just one hour later. Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office revealed that he died due to the severity of his injuries.

His death has been labeled as an accident by the medical examiner's office. The dogs are now under quarantine at Pups Under Police Security (PUPS), an animal holding facility. Police say the pit bulls must go through a "dangerous dog evaluation" to determine what will happen to them, according to a report by Minneapolis StarTribune.

The cause of the dogs' attack against Thomas Trawick is under investigation, according to Brooklyn Center Police Commander Tony Gruenig.

"There is about a 10- to 14-day process to declare the dogs dangerous," Gruenig said. "We have to serve paperwork, have a hearing, if it's declared dangerous then there is an appeal process."

Gruenig also stated that "the owners could also turn the dogs over to the city, and the hearing would be waived."

A GoFundMe fundraiser was set up by Dionne Thomas, to help the family receive donations as they prepare for Thomas Trawick's funeral, memorial, and other daily expenses as they mourn his loss.

A tribute to Thomas Trawick was posted for donors and anyone who comes across the page to see.

"Dezmond Thomas Trawick tragically passed away recently. This excruciating loss is sudden and will be felt by many. Dezmond was a brother, a son, an uncle, a grandson and a friend. He was abundantly loved by the Brooklyn Center Community and was a graduate of Brooklyn Center High School. He was loved by everyone that knew him. Dezmond was known as an old soul, a generous giver of his time, support and guidance. He loved the people around him and he loved his family," the tribute reads.

What the fuck is there to evaluate? The shitbulls murdered a man. Execution them; they aren't fit for society.
This shit doesn't even make any sense. What bullshit laws and processes do they have that need to be evaluated when even the ASPCA deems this situation a lost cause:

Euthanasia or permanent confinement of the dog are extreme remedies and should be utilized only when the dog has attacked a person or domesticated animal without justification and has caused serious physical injury or death or when a qualified behaviorist who has personally evaluated the dog determines that the dog poses a substantial risk of such behavior and that no other remedy will make the dog suitable to live safely with people.
Enforcement of dangerous dog laws is ultimately the responsibility of local government authorities, and it is important that they exercise their responsibility with vigor and discretion to protect both the public and responsible pet guardians.

They have an ENTIRE website for this:

S/A

Dangerous animal declarations

We will assess if an animal is a threat to public safety if it:
  • Bites a person or another animal
  • Is aggressive to a person or another animal
Based on how severe the incident was, we may make a dangerous animal declaration in one of three levels:
  • Potentially-dangerous animal
  • Dangerous animal
  • Destruct order
Not all biting and aggression results in a dangerous animal declaration. In some cases, we'll issue a warning to the owner and keep it on file.

Owner responsibilities

If we declare your animal to be potentially-dangerous, you must follow these guidelines.
  • Muzzle and leash it when it is outside your home.
  • Keep it in a secure area when people other than family members are in your home.
  • Keep it in an approved kennel when outside.
  • Get your outdoor kennels or fences inspected and approved for use.
  • Do not :
    • Take it to off-leash dog parks.
    • Allow it to roam in your yard, even if it is fenced.
Your animal must be:
  • Spayed or neutered, and
  • Microchipped
Every year, you you must:
  • Register your potentially dangerous animal with Animal Care & Control.
  • Get a dangerous animal pet license.

Additional requirements

If you own a dangerous animal, you must also:
  • Have personal injury insurance coverage of at least $300,000.
  • Display these state-mandated warning signs.
    • A dangerous dog tag on the animal.
    • Dangerous animal signs in the front and back of your home.

Destruct order

A destruct order is issued only in the most serious cases, or when owners fail to follow requirements to protect the public. A destruct order results in the animal being humanely euthanized.

There is some bullshit afoot in this case for sure.

Dangerous Dogs in Minnesota
Document is a bit dated but seems to match with above website.

In addition, the authority may destroy a dog if it: 1. inflicted substantial or great bodily harm on a person without provocation; 2. inflicted multiple bites on a person without provocation; 3. bit multiple people in the same attack without provocation; or 4. bit a person in an attack where more than one dog participated

Can't quote the message, but I'm taling about the shitbull posted by @Freya some posts ago on this page:

That Zelus's story is wild, lemme tell you all about it!

The dog was sold as the usual sob story on the Dodo, with the usual tripe of 'pibbie was abused, but with just some luv we cured him! Look what a cuddlebug he is now!'

Dodo original video on YouTube:

Newest comments underneath, after the dog got put down, show some common sense:

lol.
Anyway, this Zelus was planned to be made some triumphant story of, they immediately setup a TikTok account with his name in the handle, surely to make him a 'star' on the Dodo with multiple follow-up videos.

Last month on r/BanPitbulls someone reposted a compilation of videos of the owner, detailing the increasingly terrifying behavior of the sweetbug, including multiple attacks on relatives and she, then pregnant, living in fear of the dog, until it was put down immediately after mauling an in-law, before 'they could change their minds'.

Local copy of the video, it's very sped up, unfortunately, hit pause every now and then to read everything:

Here the single stories, pasted at a somewhat less breakneck pace, with some not included in the video above:

Anyway, I would rate this as a happy ending, the two morons put it down before it could nanny their newborn to death. Sucks for the brother-in-law and the others who got 'gently nibbed' at by the pibble tho.
Woman of course still in full Stockholm syndrome kept saying in the stories on her personal account that the pit was AMAZING to them. Yeah, right, sure. Hopefully she sobered up in the meantime and now realizes what gigantic morons both of them were.

Give your pibble some extra wiggle!
Get FUCKING JACKED with BULLYMAX!

Sponsored by The Dodo of course. Ultimate muscle building dogfood for extra snuggles! Just what Nala needs to help her chew through a solid wood door, or leap a 10 foot daycare fence in a single bound...

The attempt at cutesy marketing for muscle building dogfighter food is fucking weird.

WRONG, the best food for pitbulls is little children and the elderly.

In the first video at 0:37 that dog on the left looks like it knows if it moves the monster next to it will attack.
That's one thing I find funny. A lot of normal dogs know these things are a threat and they certainly change their behavior around them. I have a boxer that's extremely hyper active and she'll just run right up to a great dane that lives near me and start a play fight despite the dog dwarfing her. However, there's a shit bull that lives near me that she'll become extremely guarded around and instinctively knows not to turn her back to it, act submissive in any way, or get too close to it.
