Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

C'mon man.
She can't do more than the specific whinny little girl voice in all the characters she worked on.
Rikku from FF10 and Paz from MGS Peace Walker are actually my triggering PSTD's.
And speaking of, there are many better long time voice actors that were in MGS. Grey DeLisle, Phil LaMarr, Lori Alan, Robin Atkin Downes, even Benito Martinez, Phillip Antohny-Rodriguez, Crispin Freeman and Alastair Duncan. the latter two who played Sundowner and Senator Armstrong, respectively. And they are way better VAs than Tara Strong will ever be. Their respective acting are more fancy steak and a fine wine while Tara's acting is more like that of a typical fast food chain.

Oh my...
She's always done pretty well the personification of dominant characters. Vicky from Fairy Godparents & Azula from ATLA...
Damn. I think i got the itch of liking non-sumissive people in part thanks for her.
And she was also Daphne in the majority of Scooby Doo projects. Also, she was in the last two entries in the Tomb Raider Anniversary trilogy as Natla.

I actually talked about her on the voice actors thread yesterday. Shes definitely a voice actress whose been in most of my childhood to be honest.

I try to be nice...I really do to real and fake people. But I'll admit she's not that good a va even her contompories can at least do do separate voices. The best she can do with her own is add a Brooklyn drawl to it (harley quinn sometimes and kylee griffin...sometimes. as the fellas above me said grey D is the better va.

I too think vicky sparked my admiration for as ps said"

non-sumissive people

And redheads too....shame they get blackwashed to hell and back in the name of "progress. "

I still don't get how this retarded moral came back to life in recent years. No one kills whales in western countries and I doubt the Japanese make a dent, any decrease is primarily because of habitat destruction by chinks and poos but god forbid you actually point a finger towards them.
What saved the whales was the fall of the Soviet Union disrupting the Soviet whaling industry. Now they reclassify populations of whales as subspecies because you can grift on that.

And there it is.

Man the animation stylation doesn't work. Bugs and classic gang just have completely different proportions from tiny toons. They just don't fit together. The animation while smooth enough isn't bouncy enough for Loony toons. Also the line work is bit too fine.

I did like the backgrounds. Not ground braking but quite nice, especially outside. Those felt crisp and had a fancy university vibes.

imagine being so creatively bankrupt that you reboot the creatively bankrupt babies version of the original cartoon created solely to ride a trend from 30 years ago that not a single person on this planet (with a functioning brain) liked
Hey pal you want a creatively bankrupt babies version of looney tunes? Look up baby looney tunes but don't you ever say that about tiny toons.

Well ok I admit the show wasn't as good as the shows the same team would later work on (animaniacs, freakazoid, histeria, and pinky and the brain) and yes it was another cog in the trend at the time of making baby (or in this case kid) versions of popular characters. But Tom Ruger and Sheri stoner gave it their all even though the network constantly tried to tell them what to do.

This nu tiny toons is exactly what people in 1990 who didn't understand animation thought the original tiny toons was. A bland creatively bankrupt timid cash in on a popular franchise created solely to suckered kids into watching it....actually scratch that last part because as it was said a few pages ago the people who made this version of TT didn't consider writing for kids at all. Only their fellow neckbearded, mouth breathing, marvel and star wars loving, consoomerist lemming, retard peers.

Baby Looney Tunes was pretty much like Muppet Babies except without the live-action sequences, the charm or fun. Granted, Muppet Babies did drop in quality later on.

Hey! Those were some good Konami games!

That and it inspired my favourite ending to a Sonichu comic:

For some reason, I thought this would have been purged along with all of the other animated content on HBO Max. Then again, Velma survived so I guess anything's possible.
It's just out of spite at this point. It may be the most hated cartoon of all time. Even Johnny Test was liked by some people, and Teen Titans Go was liked by its target audience and mainly hated by adult autists for not being the original.

I'd say Rachael MacFarlane is also a great voice actress, but she also has a habit of being one-note when voicing character, sounding too similar to either Eris from Billy & Mandy, Numbah 362 from Kids Next Door or especially Hayley Smith from American Dad, and she also seems to get political on her social networks. Still, she's still seen to be a friendly person. It's weird that I haven't seen her in many cons outside of something like the Rhode Island Con from November 2022.

Honestly I really never payed attention to Rachael career too much to be honest. But she definitely has been in stuff I have seen American Dad and Kids Next Door being notable ones. She doesn't do too bad as a voice actress. I guess I just haven't fallen in love with any of her specific roles through I did like Numbah 362 form what I remmber.

Grey can get very political as well. But I find the difference between Tara and her is that Tara just seems bitter in general. Well outside of politics Grey can actually be fun and funny. She reminds me of a old friend I had he would super annoying when it came to politics but on other stuff he was a pretty fun guy to hang around. Also I get the vibe that Grey just follows the woke line just so she doesn't get cancelled. Since pre-2016 you will find a lot of evidence of her being non-woke. I don't know could be wrong. It's just a vibe I get.

But either way I definitely enjoy her more than Tara Strong. Simply because she puts a lot more depth into her voice range.

Again, she was Eris in Billy & Mandy. This is also one of her most notable character other than Numbah 362 or Hayley Smith.
I know but I think I may have missed those episodes or it's just been a long time since I seen it. That's why I didn't mention it. It would be hypocritical for me to judge that role when I haven't seen it or it's been a long time that I can't remember.
