We could've had him in Nick All-Star Brawl if Nick still had the rights, but sadly Nick doesn't.Will Kappa Mikey posting ever make a comeback?
You're all fags
You're acting like part of the reason animation is so subpar today isn't the awful writing and writers treating it like wish fulfilment.I agree
Damn right I did... in Minecraft.
there's a specific irony to the fact these are the same people who suck tranny gock at every moment. as soon as weinstein puts on a dress and starts exposing himself to little girls in the dresser theyre oh so valid and in danger of genocide and need to be fucked in order to prevent a new mass shootingI'm assuming she's just referring to anyone who worked on Ren and Stimpy in general, and how they're all just a bunch of Sexist Male Gazing Creeps. And trust me... that's not the only stupid thing she's tweeted in the past...
Canadians really don't think that kids like gross out humor that much right? When I was growing up, the kids who genuinely enjoyed gross out humor were a small minority. Total Drama continually crosses the "Poorly Disguised Fetish" line.He is, he's apparently doing it intentionally and aiming for a world record in farting or something. And he makes it far, 8 characters are eliminated before him.
And on top of that aside from farting his character is dumb and a jerk and significantly less likeable than Owen.
His introduction is telling enough.

Pain.
I actually like how this looks. It's got that mixed media feel that shows like Gumball and the Maxx had. I hope the beanmouth style isn't permanent though. I know Calarts is a misnomer but you can't blame people for thinking a lot of cartoons look fucking identical nowadays. One of the things that kept me from watching OK KO, I thought the style looked bad.Speaking of Independent Animation, has anyone checked out this Fundraiser for another pilot called Boxtown
It honestly seems a lot more interesting than Kristen Gish's Kung Fu Gators short.

I distinctly remember being disgusted by TD and reruns of Ren and Stimpy's gross out humor when I was a child. I still don't understand the cult following behind that show tbh. Maybe I was (still am) just a wimp.Canadians really don't think that kids like gross out humor that much right? Scott Fellows who was once a Fairly Oddparents writer is the dude in question and also did Johnny Test and speaking of former staff members of the Fairly Oddparents and sorry to mention it again, Steve Marmel posted in a deleted tweet a rant about Kyle Rittenhouse and furter back in time, another one about former judge Roy Moore. It could be interesting to see how he might react if we talk to him about Dan Schneider and John K.The dude that conceived of Neds Declassified and Big Time Rush seems pretty chill, and the child actors from those shows seem really mentally well compared to most others.
I definitely agree, it seems like a pretty neat little project. I think the another downside is that Kiwifarms regular Tara Strong is apparently voicing the main character.I actually like how this looks. great voice actress, incredibly awful person. Shame too considering her repertoire goes all the way to hello kitty when she was a kid.Kiwifarms regular Tara Strong
Nope. Are there any recent cartoons meant for kids that are actually fun and not too busy with politics and (wo)manchild projection and wishfulfillment?
Then why did she let him draw a caricature of her in the first place if she knew he was a pervert? Unless she's just assuming everyone who worked on Ren and Stimpy is a pedo, too.John K is a giant pedophile. Most of the details are in the OP.
That's what I'm thinking. Clearly the bitch likes to snort clout cocaine off twatter's back so for her not to outright name (or draw) the man himself is odd. Either she's making shit up or she knows something we don't (yet) and won't say shit until she can use it to look morally superior. Just like the rest of the industry cogs. Then why did she let him draw a caricature of her in the first place if she knew he was a pervert? Unless she's just assuming everyone who worked on Ren and Stimpy is a pedo, too.
Don't be. They not only have access to the old good stuff if they know where to look but can get it at the press of a button. My generation had to ask around school or local shops where to get the good shit and rent stuff at the library or video stores. They have the same choices we did growing up on what to watch and what not to watch. Just because you target them doesn't mean they'll stand still and take it. They'll find a way to move out the way.I kinda feel bad for current kids.
I know 'blah blah media that im not nostalgic towards sucks' and I know there used to be many stinkers when I was a kid too, but idk there were always at least multiple fun cartoons that had a good premise and were executed well, not really storytelling masterpieces but they were fun.
Only speaking for my nephews but no, they don't like plot-heavy shit unless there's a lot of action like Ninjago, Mao Mao and Ducktales. Otherwise they're watching Phineas & Ferb, Spongebob and Big City Greens when they catch it. I don't think either have watched anime yet outside of Pokemon so they could be watching and not telling anybody.Idk if kids like binging plot-heavy cartoons now that streaming is so popular, but I always preferred to just have random episodes of multiple shows every day and if I didn't like something I'd just switch channels, and then made sure I just didn't miss that weeks epsiode of specifically and only Avatar to not miss anything important.
With streaming I never feel like rewatching anything either, while as a kid I had no problem watching the same episode on tv multiple times within a month.
Do kids (above toddler age) even watch non-anime cartoons anymore that frequently?
Outside of Peppa Pig and Doc McStuffins, I never even see cartoon-related toys anymore.
Duh. Episodic shows are meant to engage viewers for a little bit until the next show (or before dinner then bedtime), not keep you there to see what happens next. Plot-heavy shows are what's suitable for binging if the story is that engaging. Strange soap operas aren't on streaming when their whole schtick is to be engaging until the next episode to answer questions.Maybe fun episodic shows were just better suited for cable?
Beats me. All I know is that Katie was such a huge Ren & Stimpy fan during her childhood and was lucky to meet the creator John K., which hasn't dawned on her until recently that he was a child molester all this time. Sure, it may have given her a career in the industry, but even she admitted that she shouldn't have started her career with meeting a pedo and she should've been "a worse drawer."Then why did she let him draw a caricature of her in the first place if she knew he was a pervert? Unless she's just assuming everyone who worked on Ren and Stimpy is a pedo, too.
C'mon man.great voice actress, incredibly awful person. Shame too considering her repertoire goes all the way to hello kitty when she was a kid.
