I hate every variation of the Bors “you participate in society” meme, because it is used as a cheap cop-out for when commies are criticized for living a comfy consumerist lifestyle instead of trying to minimize frivolous consumption. If somebody claims that something is unethical and should not be participated, they should not participate in it. But no, telling them not to use the overpriced phone is clearly telling them to live off of scraps and wear rags!
