The number of sports bars in the area (greater Willmar) is tiny and none of them are the type of place that is going to hire a black ex-con who deals drugs from behind the bar.

The other thing is that $40,000 isn't really that much to send a physical gift to 5,000 people. That's $8 per person and that presumably has to include shipping costs. Does he intend to make people pay for shipping? What can that give you more than a t-shirt? And has Nick considered international shipping costs yet?

It was supposed to work like this: Nick sends a link to the e-mail list he has supposedly saved with a link to a coupon to redeem it, send the company your address, they ship it to you for free. Nick would then be invoiced for final shipping.

I agree that the number of paying subs is probably much lower now for monthlies, but he had a bunch of people sign up for a year. Definitely enough of them for there to be ones who whinge openly that they got bait-and-switched. (I think it was documented in this thread?) and asking if they could get a pro rata refund.

Nick would be doing very well to keep shipping + manufacture costs for a high-quality t-shirt under $8/person. And he specified it's better than a t-shirt. And that's not considering the fact that some Locals subscribers will presumably be in Europe where shipping would be more expensive.

The promise was made at a time when Nick was visibly drinking more and openly talking about using drugs in the time before and afterwards. I think he was just in a haze where he thought he would gain subscribers forever. Now the problem for Nick is that unlike the 24 hour stream or the Balldo review, this is an actual thing of value that he promised that some people will be aggrieved not to receive. Will people demand refunds or some other form of compensation? When does the first person threaten a lolsuit because they didn't get their gift?

Their content isn't really for me, but it is good to see them doing something productive that gets them outside of Nick's community for awhile and allows them to practice their hobbies (pending their motivations).

Sally's first video in particular seemed to be heavily influenced by conversations seen in Nick's chat about man-vs-woman blaming for societal ills (which could get pretty nasty and didn't resolve anything anyway). Sally's videos end very abruptly, but otherwise a passable technical effort for a very new content creator. The conspicuous shoutout to Nick in icancook's video invites speculation as to whether this is a bid for attention.

Though Sally stays on topic and hasn't mentioned Nick explicitly in her videos (so far), if her and icancook get into a spat over Nick's attention it will likely spill over into locals. Interested parties may want to be mindful of this when looking through chats.

Some people are motivated by conflicting/missing information to try and settle matters. This is why I took an interest in Kayla and Drexel and showed my sources in the larger posts concerning them. Drexel wasn't that interesting to me so much as the confusion around him, though the fact he is a disgusting moron makes him understandably hard for some to watch. Still, he unfortunately remains relevant as he is quite involved in Nick's personal/professional life (both of which are currently in question).

Kayla still interests me somewhat. Kayla does a lot of talking, though not a lot seems to be retained that doesn't also invite wild speculation. I also wonder if even Kayla listens to herself when she talks. If she did, then Kayla might understand why she doesn't get much respect and posing in lingerie for Nick's fans (among other things) doesn't help matters.

That said, she is not what I would call a strong person though, and it seems like Nick has failed her in a few ways as well.
