The LPS don't wear bodycams or have dashcams because they would run the LPS over a million bucks a year to deploy and maintain, if going by the St Thomas numbers of 100K a year for a department serving a city 1/14 the size. The tribunal doesn't have the jurisdiction to mandate the LPS purchase and wear cams, it can only issue a recommendation. And that's only if the complaint doesn't get chucked out for being improperly filed in the first place.

I'm all for cops wearing bodycams because it removes doubt in lolsuits like this, lowers police corruption, increases people's trust in LEOs and helps with training. But it's not going to happen because of this. Once again Luke is trying to be the center of attention and play internet superhero. Unfortunately, superheroes aren't supposed to base everything they're trying to accomplish on troon lies.

The police chief made his statement based on audio/video equipment present in the LPS holding cells. Everything there is recorded and I'm sure they have had the footage ready in anticipation of this.

At no time while she was in our holding cells did members of our police service address Ms. Sorrenti by her deadname and gender. I have personally reviewed the recordings and found our officers were polite, respectful, and professional.

Did his lawyer even read the chief's statement? In an absolute best case scenario for Luke he might get a payout of $10-15K from the tribunal, but it's going to cost him ten times that to get and take years of back and forth. The cops bent over backwards already issuing an apology and promising to fix their system. This makes me a bit MATI because this grifter is wasting piles of his dipshit fans' money, in order to waste bigger piles of taxpayer money filing complaints and demanding things that he's already gotten, or making accusations he can't possibly prove for clout. OK, that's not quite correct.

Commonwealth citizens don't get many advantages these days over other citizens. Keffals can visit for 90 days as a Canadian citizen and that's about it, if it gets a EU passport, they can stay for 180 days. If it is under 30, it can get a Youth Mobility Visa which will let it visit and work in the UK for two years. Otherwise its a work visa which requires it to get a job first (except for the entrepreneur tier - no chance) , a spousal visa (which requires 2 years living together first and has a required income level for the spouse to support you ) , an ancestry visa - which requires a UK born grandparent and some funds to support yourself, or a study visa - which requires an accredited course of study and proof of funds to support yourself. Of course, it will probably just arrive on a tourist visa and overstay like tens of thousands of others.

There is no registration with the police in the UK for any person on any UK visa, that scheme ended in 2022. Another fine example of government cucking along with the lack of exit controls. There are supposed to be checks on visa status by employers and landlords, both can be got around, the first usually involves shit-tier work at illegal pay levels and our dainty troon isn't doing that, the second well, it gonna move in with the polycucks, so that check won't be made, but if it wasn't, there's always some slum landlord willing to let a room for silly money on the grounds they probably won't get caught.
