NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

FOX News Media operates the FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, the direct-to-consumer streaming services FOX Nation and FOX News International and the free ad-supported television service FOX Weather. Currently the number one network in all of cable, FNC has also been the most watched television news channel for more than 21 consecutive years, while FBN ranks among the top business channels on cable. Owned by Fox Corporation, FOX News Media reaches nearly 200 million people each month.

Tucker was the main draw of Fox and had the only segment I would on occasion watch, especially as he's become more blackpilled and glownigger-aware over the past few years. My guess is that part of the Dominion settlement stipulated Tucker's removal from the network, probably because everything that was said about Dominion was correct and the Fedfags are still back there pulling the strings, but Fox's lawyers either believe they don't have a leg to stand on in court or, and possibly more likely, someone out there has some serious dirt on Fox executives and if they don't play ball they get fucked with the bat. A dark day for mainstream news, but network television is a fossil and I don't see it lasting much more than another decade anyways. Tucker himself almost certainly has "fuck you" money and could easily get a massive following by starting a Fox-unaffiliated, Tucker-centric program somewhere on the Internet.

As expected, Fox stock took a shit.

This is interesting because someone like Ben Shapiro has his own media outlet. But does he have enough money to bring in someone like Tucker? I'd assume Tucker will be commanding top dollar if he's going to work for someone else again.

On the other hand, if he tries to do his own thing, what platform? He obviously can't go to twitch or YouTube because he'll be struck off in minutes. If he tries to make his own site he'll be attacked (technologically) to hell and back.

Was Tucker fired, though, or did he leave on his own accord? Did he contribute to blasting Dominion, or just didn't like the outcome? It would be silly for Fox News to fire their more valuable asset.

But then again, Fox News is retarded.
I could see it be a little bit of both. He has more leverage than Fox imo and could make more if he ended up on his own platform or someone else’s. Cable news is dying so it’s a bigger win for him if he plays his hand right.
Tucker has a big enough audience that he can just pivot to doing an online show. Daily Wire might try to poach him too.
If he was smart he’d just make his own platform so he could keep more of the revenue.

Well he did just have a cordial interview with this pretty wealth guy, Elon Musk, maybe you have heard of him :story: … that is the dream… imagine the absolute SEETHE if Elon spearheaded a news outlet with Tucker Carlson.

Edit to include this, maybe their is legitimately hope
