NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

FOX News Media operates the FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, the direct-to-consumer streaming services FOX Nation and FOX News International and the free ad-supported television service FOX Weather. Currently the number one network in all of cable, FNC has also been the most watched television news channel for more than 21 consecutive years, while FBN ranks among the top business channels on cable. Owned by Fox Corporation, FOX News Media reaches nearly 200 million people each month.

If Rupert Murdoch is even still in charge at Fox in any modicum of the word you have to realize he's one of the many prolific media tycoons that understands the changing of the times and is willing to do whatever it takes to make money. There's an argument to be made he isn't even conservative. Just take a look at "A Current Affair" a program hand crafted by his right hand men he brought from Australia and fielded almost entirely by washed up, jaded journos who had been well past what they considered "prime" in the industry at the time. The host? Maury Povich, prior to his stint as a day time tv host played the "straight man" who would sit and tut at the stories they would find. Their journalism plan was to bombard, lie, cheat, steal, whatever was necessary to get the story. From having crew members buying pick axes and jumping on top of the berlin wall to start tearing it down, to hiring a Gorbachev lookalike and two prostitutes to show up and troll Donald Trump at Trump Tower. Fox News has always gone in the direction that the money flows. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out most of them weren't even conservatives and just accepting the money to say what's on the Teleprompter.
