puberty blockers shouldnt be used either way - early onset transsexuals (pre-pubescent) who have their dysphoria persist into puberty (they make up about 1/3rd of all pre-pubescent children diagnosed with GD) have tiny rates of desistance, and should transition regardless. the rest can go cope
