NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

FOX News Media operates the FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, the direct-to-consumer streaming services FOX Nation and FOX News International and the free ad-supported television service FOX Weather. Currently the number one network in all of cable, FNC has also been the most watched television news channel for more than 21 consecutive years, while FBN ranks among the top business channels on cable. Owned by Fox Corporation, FOX News Media reaches nearly 200 million people each month.

Half of US citizens hate themselves and their country.
It's gotta be more than half, you can't go five fucking seconds online without an American self flagellating over how shit this country is atm unless you're deep in grifting waters. Conservatives do it. Liberals do it. I live in a red state where all my neighbors fly American and Confederate flags freely, yet not a single one of them has anything good to actually say about the current status of the nation whenever we talk about it

From the L.A. Times article linked above (and to my earlier point):

Love him or hate him, he probably shouldn't have put certain things in writing that were subject to the discovery process. With that, Dominion was set to paint a picture in which Fox's top stars (to include Carlson) candidly admit they didn't believe what they were saying on air.

I think the large settlement came about because, even if Fox were to ultimately win, the entire thing would have exposed some embarrassing stuff going on internally.

Tucker wasn't effective because he talked about this or that. He was effective because he made entertaining content. His effectiveness and popularity came from how both Republicans and Democrats alike just found him funny or interesting and listened to him rant about M&Ms, Chris Chan or TND. Rather than listening to some corporate shill seethe about how the other side is the worst thing ever, people like being entertained far more.

So saying stuff like "Tucker has writers" or "He doesn't do journalism" is irrelevant to the point. The most popular show in the nation in that time slot is calling trannies crazed and violent and people who hear that aren't just an echo chamber of boomer republicans, tons of people regardless of their political opinions listen to Tucker, to listen to Tucker and no other reason.

Not surprising. Things just keep getting worse and worse and people clearly have no intention to both cooperate and solve any of the issues this country’s been facing.

Tucker is/was a psyop for boomers but I do find the whole 2020 election to be an even more problematic psyop. I don't necessarily think it's unlikely or impossible for Trump to lose but I did find the way it played out on election night to be weird. Then the weird 2 more weeks shit with Sydney Powell and the schizo lawyer & co. that culminated in the glowing January 6th event. I love how the video from the shooting inside the atrium shows the lady who was shot make eye contact with the shooter before breaking in and being shot, then the crowd inside being about as blasé as possible about someone supposedly being killed in front of them.

Glad I don't care about this next election. I caution everyone from continuing to engage in the suffering mill that is politics.

>I-Chingposter has most retarded take known to man.

Shitting on the troons and those heckin' evil Demonrats isn't really good for anything. Good for anything gets you no time-slot on TV ever. And moreover, the M&Ms shit is fucking retarded and there is no way in hell you are saying it was a good thing.

Having writers is entirely relevant. Without writers there would be no covering M&Ms or Dominion. Placing my bet that writers are what got him fired in the end.

Sorry if this point has been brought before, but I think it's very important to point out.

(This is not meant to be an argument for any fraud in 2020 US elections.)

Back in 2019, Tom Scott made a video called "Why Electronic Voting Is Still A Bad Idea."

Every criticism in this video still applies. Only difference is that Dominion Voting Systems has now made themselves almost a dependency for US elections. Going back to paper ballots or even requiring much stricter security around voting machines, would be taken as admission of guilt by many.

People realize that when they are unhappy with the election results, they can just say that the election was "stolen" and justify all sort of violent actions.

Even if you could proof that Dominion machines are foolproof, Tom made a poignant argument: "You don't even need to break the election itself, just people's trust in them."

Time to place your bets.
Is he gonna join another of the Big News channels as the "designated conservative"?
Is he gonna join Matt Walsh at the Daily Wire?
Is he gonna join Alex Jones on Infowars?
Is he gonna make his own youtube channel and stream from there?

Or, at 5000:1 odds, is he gonna transition and FOX news will be shamed for getting rid of "Trudy Carlsondottir

Alternatively, given how Don Lemon has also been let go from CNN,
Lemon and Carlson pull a "freaky Friday" and Lemon joins FOX while Tucker goes to CNN. After 6 months, we see how many FOX viewers support BLM and how many CNN viewers believe the trans-lobby is out to get them.
CNN hires Tucker, John Malone personally joins Tucker on screen to welcome him during his first show.

Don Lemon becomes the very thing he hates and grows tits, but joins the 41% a few months after.

The Tucker news is really surprising, because if anyone read the text messages from the case, he was a real company man.

I'm seeing some chatter that Tucker's criticisms of the corporate leadership is actually what got him fired, if that's true, it's pathetic, completely expected and sad at the same time. Shit on every sacred cow, but moan a bit about some 90 yrs old decrepit fool and his underlings and you get expelled from their circlejerk.
We'll see. Really curious what the hell was the cause.

Tucker is a jew and there is no difference between him and the (((young turks))); just another flavor of jewish controlled ops generating manufactured outrage. He is literally a member of a jewish think tank called (((PragerU))) that pushes zionist narratives in media.

Considering the relationship that (((Elon Musk))) has with (((Rupert Murdoch))), I wouldn't be surprised if Musk launches some kind of gay show with Tucker as the host.
