NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

FOX News Media operates the FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, the direct-to-consumer streaming services FOX Nation and FOX News International and the free ad-supported television service FOX Weather. Currently the number one network in all of cable, FNC has also been the most watched television news channel for more than 21 consecutive years, while FBN ranks among the top business channels on cable. Owned by Fox Corporation, FOX News Media reaches nearly 200 million people each month.

What's the echo chamber? You mean the fact that people go to a portion of the forum where they can talk among generally likeminded people about a subject, and coincidentally most of them happen to agree about it? Hmm I wonder why that is exactly, certainly couldn't be that anybody with a functioning fucking brain would look at half the shit that gets passed for news or the current political state of just the US alone and think "Wow, this fucking sucks. Let's reinforce how much it sucks so we can keep aware of it!"

Yup that's an echo chamber bro, you got us.
So you are saying the last two pages where everyone melted down over milquetoast liberal points of view didn't happen?

I think Lemon being ousted will prove easier to explain.

He pissed off some dangerhairs with some mild comments, and CNN is very concerned about their fee-fees.

Also, he just sucks in general. I don't think his ratings were ever that great. There's a completely legitimate business reason for canning him.

Overall, his leaving seems way less complicated, controversial, and unexpected than Carlson's departure. Why the same day? I dunno, cuz it's Monday?
It might have been due to his feud with Vivek Ramaswamy days prior.

Tucker came the closest out of any news presenter I've seen to naming them. That alone probably made him some enemies. Where ever Tucker goes it's sure to bring big money and he can easily take advantage of a narrative that he was "fired" for "speaking truth to power" or whatever he wants to say really. This is only going to benefit him. Fox is going to bleed stock for this.

Murdoch lets a lot of stuff slide. But it looks like it was too much for the people in power. And they made the call.

The long and short of it is that Fox was reporting on Dominion's voting machines defrauding the 2020 elections. Dominion responded with a lawsuit that was settled out of court for 765 million.
And that's why he's getting the boot, They're just shooting themselves in the foot at this point since he seems to be the only reason anyone even remotely watches their news station, this is the definition of the famous Dog surrounded by fire saying 'this is fine' meme.

As a Lefty I am so glad to see Lemon gone - such a cunt.

But the news about Tucker is unreal; I just can not still wrap my head around the balls Murdoch has got. I know from speaking to a few who watch news that Tucker was the reason - and without him I just don't know.

Nobody who wore a bow tie as long as he did should have had any credibility to lose

If him and lemon start a network together I'll watch it for the yucks

Its probably for the best for Tucker anyway. Legacy media is a dying animal. Independent media is where it is at, but the control freaks in Government cannot stand it. Its why CBC and BBC get so much money. The US is still a large enough market for legacy private corpos to survive the media environment (for now), but in smaller countries they are fucked without government support.

Weird how they match up with Soros.

Yeah this gorilla nigger has the audacity to claim he use to "refute the right wingers with evidence" and that just spewing "fat/conman/con artist/obese etc" was a recent development. He is and will continue to be a dishonest nigger faggot shitting all over the floor

I thought something retarded like this would be happening after watching some Fox yesterday, because they had some fat idiot screaming at the screen that Trump can't be allowed to be the nominee again. So yeah no surprise now they are dumping the only mildly based anchor they had the very next day.

Fox is fucking done. This in some way feels like an attack on the right. Fox doing this right after the retarded Alvin Bragg indictment. It's not going to work though. The neo-con assholes who just want Democrat Lite in office are never going to convince the base to go their way. Fuck them. Either evolve or fucking go away. It's not the early 2000's anymore, and no one wants your bullshit.

He's not wrong though. This place tends to be a pretty big echo chamber. Stop tarding out over someone disagreeing with you.
No, he's pretty wrong, self-evident that he hasn't been v& yet (something that I noticed a lot of dipshits forget when they venture out of r/politics and get told to fuck off after sperging. Hint hint).

The problem is that if Fox goes before the rest, the rest will jerk each other off over what Great Journalists™️ they are for defeating anti-Democracy™️ disinformation.

They like having controlled opposition. They like having no opposition even better.

Carlson's departure comes weeks after a former booker at the show, Abby Grossberg, sued Fox, citing "vile sexist stereotypes" working for Carlson.
>(((Grossberg)))
For as long as there's so many fucking faggots whining "Not muh jews! Not muh precious jews! Stop naming the jew!" or whatever rhetoric they latch onto to try to discourage it, I will continue to point it out.
