Watching the short clip, I don't know if I would say that he is "into it". More like he's saying that it's better a cartoon than real life. Although I agree that there slippery slope argument could be made here as well. It's an awkward situation to be put in, and the short clip we see really doesn't give a complete perspective on it either.

I don't know, that doesn't seem accurate. She gave birth a month later... but she filed for her and her children for divorce before she gave birth? And was definitely living at home and living with him up to at least until the whole Daily Wire debacle based on his vlogs and comments he made on air.
I don't know that it's necessarily a real filing, or maybe she was just insane because of hormones and she took it back, or it's possible they worked shit out as well.

Go look at their instagrams. She's deleted all photos of him, has plenty of pics of kids. Neither Crowder nor his wife has posted a picture with each other in well over a year. She's in Michigan; he's in TX.

Dave in the interview mentioned not delving into Crowder's family situation, but then went into how Crowder didn't respect Dave's family needs.
They're probably just being smart about this and positioning themselves to say "see, we're the good guys, we don't do what he did" down the line.
