She's trying to be the discount Keffals. Pick a fight with an online site that has a history of harassment. Then beg the masses for money.
The problem for her is her past. Enough of one where the same IT security talent worked on taking down that evil website (so Keffals could then concentrate on taking down Tucker Carlson) isn't gonna be all that hip on helping her with the Weev friendship, participation in GNAA trolling, and the female sexual assault abuse out there.
Oh she'll have support. And get some gofundme bucks. But not the Keffals level of $100K+.

When one is young at being a detective there is nothing worse than conformation bias.
Find a "unique" trait and then go looking for that trait thinking it's the key.
