Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

it strikes a weird note with me that he changes the titles post-upload.

This is somewhat common, and not just with True Crime channels. My guess it that it has something to do with the algorithms that rule youtubers' existences, like "Thumbnails with dudes making a stupid face get more clicks".

Brew does it a lot, complete with changing of thumbnails. I find it more amusing than anything else.

That Jurassic Park anal horror series would be a hell of a lot less cringe if it didn't used the William Aftom screams.

Has anyone linked videos discussing arcade cabinets that have missing children’s images?

why would I want to listen to a video after the narrator basically says you have to wade through shit to find gold.
I've noticed this trend on youtube lately, video creators apologizing for stuttering, but rather than edit it out, they leave it in because they are "too tired" to re-edit the video. It's laziness.
Actual tv shows that talk about that stuff
Funny you mention it, I recently saw a case that JCS slam dunked, and Court TV totally shit the bed with it, they kept slapping in reenactments when the actual interrogation was chilling and complete.
It was the douchebag who thought he could do scream IRL. He had the lame fuck tarantino sideburns, and sat in his chair like he was cool and totally going to get away with it.
The cop did not indulge him, and instead acted like a frustrated and stupid Vice Principal.
The idiot bit, thinking he was going to walk right out.
He did not walk right out.

And the fucking court TV is going on and on about how the kid was traumatized, how his friends bullied him, whole bunch of who gives a fuck reality show nonsense.
JCS is a cure for reality TV.

Spoiler: not actually lost.

I had this recommended to me and thought it was kind of interesting, mainly because I do feel pretty confident that I saw this story attached to that image a long time ago on Tumblr or somewhere.
I've always had a soft spot for these kinds of creepypastas. They're short compared to the most popular ones and you might only see them once on some random website and never again. Sort of like campfire stories or something your friend's older brother would tell you to freak you out. It reminds me of that story of the mannequin woman showing up in a hospital with a dead cat in her mouth.

So new Disturban and probably the last one I'll watch. Rate me MATI or autistic but I hate the way he titles videos now. I've mentioned it before so I won't go into how sensationalistic and kinda exploitative it is.

Anyway, this is the tale of some poor guy getting thrown into the mental ward wing of a prison. A really shitty prison apparently, where they let the guy rot while his mind withered away.

The guy died in a filthy fart box of a prison cell filled with bugs due to how poorly maintained the prison was. It's not known what killed the guy but it's theorized that he died from bug bites, probable malnutrition, and how biohazardous his cell was.

Currently, the case is under investigation.

He was eaten alive by bugs? We don't even know what he died of, Disturban.

I hate how all these channels will pretend that they have respect for the dead and the victims, and at the same time use clickbait and use le spooky voice. It's so blatantly obvious that they just see these cases as another case that will attract viewers and get them online clout.

Wendigoon is the only one that actually seems to be genuine. He openly says what he feels about things, and doesn't get all haughty and fake-upset when he encounters dark humour.

Too bad this genre is mainly watched by the same kind of people who think harassing family members is doing them a favour because they're helping to solve the case.

i'm the only one waiting for the new videos by atrocity guide and lemmino? i do like those two as they do make their videos quality (and i think atrocity guide is probably the single woman-owned channel that covered something related in the true crime and horror sphere that isn't grating), but damn, it feels like an eternity since their last videos.

In cases like these they’re too recent so to me why do a “video deep dive”? Not all the details have been released—you can’t make any definitive statements. I get shocking shit happens like this or the girl dying and rotting into a couch but still. It’s an ongoing investigation why try to make a long format video about that.

Milk it, milk it, milk it

In all seriousness, It's a trend I've seen happen with a lot of YouTubers. It feels a bit weird to me when they do that.

Because if its a recent case and they claim to do a deep dive, they're going to get the most attention. It's a new case nobody else has covered, and it says right there that it's a deep dive. Doesn't matter if it actually is or not, the average true crime viewer is too stupid and desperate to care.

End of the day, none of them care about respecting the victims or spreading awareness of crimes. All they want is online clout and paychecks.

Okay so new Shrouded Hand with a bizarre video. I mean, it's good but the subject is.....uhm...Pajeets believe that people being bitted by horny dogs get pregnant with puppies, which will kill them unless they are healed by witch doctors.

I applaud SH's ability not to burst out laughing while reading this.

If it wasn't obvious, he's talking about rabies, which is legit horrifying and extremely prevalent in India.

But the whole "pregnant with puppies" sounds like someone's creepy fetish.
