I can't shake how when I was a normie on Reddit I kept getting Honk Kong protest news and videos pushed at me, and the headlines and commentary was always fawning over their tactics. Even as a normie I found it suspicious because it's not like it was that interesting. Anyway, I remember the umbrella thing specifically. It was pretty fun to watch those rejects try to implement the umbrella in that video as if they were going to be as smooth as James Bond, but it really deserved some yakety sax.
