I think this is a smart move from Jet.
Yeah, I get that a lot of people on here want this to be a literal hell house full of torture and pain 24/7 but these are, for the most part, emotionally stunted kids (legally adults, but still kids mentally and emotionally). They gotta keep this shit going for 4 and a half more weeks.
This seems more of a "Terminally online zoomers not allowed to be online and have to live and interact with similar peers" and seeing how they cope, if they can cope, and how they change (if they do) over these weeks. Rather than actual torture hell chainsaw house.

I'm skeptical as to how much of this conversation will go on the doc. Either its serious and people are leaving or they're apologizing to each other and Jet is trying to set things straight. Either of those things could reflect poorly on the crew and I would understand them not recording it or keeping it in the final cut.

I'll say this about Jet's interfering. I watched the all access cams for a season of celeb big brother. At one point tensions got super high and they ended up taking down all the cams for several hours where obviously the producers were getting involved to try to stop things from escalating further. At a certain point you have to settle things down. Of course you don't see that sort of stuff in the editing. And that was a show that wasn't full of autists.

This just makes me remember how Sam told everyone how he knew they all had secrets. They must all assume he knew about the book, so how bad is everyone else's secret? Jet told them nothing like that would happen during a normal elimination, but after seeing that it's understandable everyone is fucked up. It's like in those murder mysteries when the first body is discovered and the reality of the situation sets in. Good on them for booting simmons, but I'm positive they're all trying to think of the worst thing they've ever done and if it'll come out on camera. I wonder how fishtank will continue with the same mood from before.

I really hope Mauro's big secret is something more normal like he used to be a narco and participated committing Total Mormon Death. I don't think my heart could take it if Snorlax was 100% Americanized.

Yeah usually when people are locked up with pedophiles they beat the shit out of them and they can relieve their anger that way. That obviously isn't an option here.
