That's the critical part: if there were a national divorce, the red states would literally just need to implement export tariffs on all companies whose headquarters aren't located in the new country to THOROUGHLY fuck over blue states.

Nuked food quality. Made it more difficult to get dental care off post (They off-posted dental care under Clinton for Active Duty on a lot of bases). DESTROYED the fucking on-post housing by giving his buddies the maintenance contracts. Nuked maintenance.

He did that to school food as well. probably came from the same factory for all i know. It finally got better when trump got elected but I graduated that year so i didn't get any of the good stuff.

In my little suburban microcosm, Trump is still He Who Shall Not Be Named. Remember, the worst thing the 'burbs are dealing with right now is inflation, but this is not as psychologically distressing to mothers between the ages of 30 and 45 as being daily screamed at by every single mainstream news source that Literally Hitler is throwing brown kids in cages and Making Racism Great Again.
