These interviewers are so fake and gay with their tough guy act saying shit like "I'm gonna end you when I see you". Aren't they all Sam Hyde fans??? Most of them are into le edgy humor and joke about rape and pedophilia all the time, I highly doubt they actually give a fuck, they just want to act tough. Many such cases.
I'm kind of the fence about Simmons. He really seems like a mentally challenged ESL-chan who just does not get it. Then again that Instagram post is super weird. I get the feeling he still doesn't understand what he did wrong even though they've explained it over and over again. We need a chinaman in there asap to translate.

Seeing how its the dawn of the 10th day. I think its fair to say this show needs to substantially evolve or else its over. The fact that after 9 days this was the most interesting thing to happen and its too much? Really bad sign. Things need to change drastically.
The entity? interesting concept completely ruined and dead on the first night because you didnt tell the autistic man to sleep in the room. What the entity could have been doing is taking all night to set up an actually interesting challenge instead of just... walking around?
Fish bucks? retarded and half assed. What they needed to do is promote the fish into bribing each other to sabotage team games and the like. But now they just sit in peoples bags and do nothing and is just a gay little prize for filler challenges.
People actually planning and scheming to actually get an edge in the challenge, an actual interesting dynamic? Uh no cant have that, have to follow the script. I will also yell at them and punish them for it, so people wont do it again. If you wanted paid actors, get paid actors.
Lastly, now that there is some activity is going on, and people are reacting to stimuli that isnt a noise maker toy. we must SHUT. IT. DOWN. So whats even the point of people even watching when they cant see any fallout to anything?

I pondered this a bit while taking a giant coffee-fueled shit and trying to get ReVanced to work on my phone:
I think Jet is too nice to be the antagonist backbone that some people expect from this show.
He's living in the basement under them, watching them all the time, interacting with them several times a day, etc. Hell last night Jon and several others said they liked him, and Jet said he liked them as well and then had to explain to Jon what "wholesome" meant.
Hell he popped Josie's ball the other day then felt bad about it enough to get her another.
Basically need a bastard like Sam's caliber around 24/7.

Finally caught up, a few thoughts
Truly feel bad for Jon even as I was busting a gut laughing at the insanity. The TTS was BRUTAL to him. There was some support weaved in, but he basically shut down entirely after the blowout with Marou and didn't say a single word after. He's like mentally 8 years old, this was a lot for him. The thing about 8 year olds, though, is they bounce back, I have a feeling Jon is gonna be right as rain soon enough. Indeed, it seems like he's recovered entirely already judging by him and Sylvia's antics removing Simmons' bed.
Banning TTS bullying for him is a terrible move for the survival of the show, though, even if it is probably the ethical thing to do. Sam and Jet have grown too close to Jon and I can't even really blame them much. Jon couldn't show his face to Sam when his emotions overwhelmed him, didn't want to appear weak infront of Sensei/dad, but he accepted comfort from Jet/mom. Poor little guy. I'm gonna miss hating him when he's gone tomorrow/show dies.
I've said it before but Letti is an actual demonic being, not much more to it than that. Douse her ass in holy water and exorcise her back to the pits of oblivion. Her monologue further confirms this.
But I finally did realize something about Vance when he jumped at the opportunity to sing Simmon's outro song. He's a vulture. Too low energy to make moves, just feeds off the remains. Letti is the predator and he swims in her wake. Still, he's not hopeless. He has real human emotions like guilt, unlike Letti. He even apologized for his role in things.
Sylvia lowkey had a pretty big role in riling everyone up and causing the emotions to boil over. She was the angriest of everyone all night, even angrier than Sam. I think she's actually pissy from Modelo cravings and hasn't unloaded or done much of anything really for 8 days straight. Finally she had a target she could rage-pig at and rage-pig she did.
Sad to see Mauro go. He was growing on me big time. Not entirely surprised that he's had enough though, he's pretty normal.
Not much to say about Damiel because I do not care about him anymore. It was a mistake to bring him back and he was already spoiling the integrity of the show just by being there. It was nice of him to stop Jon's baby from crying after Jon ran upstairs to cry himself, lending a helping hand to a single father. If there was a redemption arc for him at all it was by allying with Jon.
On the Simmons question, I've been one of the people arguing for prudence and caution on the pedo accusations. And I appreciate the people who kept this thread from being an echo-chamber on that point. Its kind of pointless to argue if he is or is not a P because its been argued to death already in this thread and the dude is a fucking Rorschach painting of autism, detractors see a superpredator and doubters see a retarded ESL chink. But, for the record, I still don't buy it.
Even so, he's a cross-dressing homosexual deviant (fucking stole the fishnets lol), and ultimately I think kicking him was probably justified. Now Simmons can defend himself against the shitstorm that's been ignited and that whole arc will work itself out however it may. Sam separates himself from a radioactive personality that genuinely repulsed him. It is what it is.
Justified or not, it has clearly also taken the wind out of the sails for the show. Hell, not kicking him might not have saved it, but its probably dead now and I'm sad. All the fish are thinking about BOTH the Jon favoritism and the prospect of a very impromptu hostile booting by Jason Goldstriker. Sam calling out the scheming, while cathartic, was also a bad move. Others have said it, but him and Jet needed to be on the same page.
What Sam needed to do was bribe them. Shell out some fish bucks and promise that the rules would be followed more, even if he was lying. Alas I think that's all she wrote, I'm predicting that tonight killed the show. They've got a taste of freedom. Phones, movies, privacy. Its done.
Sam made something really great that ended too soon. I hope I'm proven wrong, and I really hope there's a season 2.

I agree. Sam and the crew were pretty nice to the fish up until last night. Once the website came back the tone changed a bit. Things weren't as chill and the fish were realizing exactly what they had gotten into. They REALLY needed to up the ante to keep these people in the tank.
