This may be a bit of a jerk off post, but I know I use the word coward a lot, and Shane hasn't started using it until I've been posting

I felt the same way when Shane made a point of how he 'likes to give credit' when he's wrong about something.

Also, that phrasing shows how he really thinks. He's only wrong when someone has fooled him - something they rarely succeed in doing, in his eyes. But here, no one was trying to fool him - he made an idiotic overreach that the woman was using an AI-generated picture, and she proved him wrong. It wasn't about him being tricked, he made a dumbass assumption all on his own and got called on it. But that does not compute in Shane World, so instead he was duped! By a woman lying to him by using her real photo!

It's really something when you can see someone's delusion defence mechanisms working like this. You can see Shane's brain responding like Tetris, moving the bits around until he can make a line and have the cognitive dissonance disappear.

Good feedback. However, it won’t help because Shame deeply despises advice - I believe because he sees it as “looking down on him” for some reason. He’s extremely insecure about many things. Yet weirdly, asking him to be humble is impossible because of his bizarrely large ego. He’ll do or say anything to make people believe he’s a big deal, and can’t stand being wrong about something. That’s why this thread exists.

Who knows, maybe he’ll change, nothing’s impossible but I don’t think it’s happening. Plus he’s a Twitter addict and that shit destroys people’s brains.
