This shit is so beyond fake, gay and try hard, I feel embarrassed having even finished watching it from start to finish. I.E. hastily drawn vector lines, shitty cropped jpeg images, color gradients, god awful audio compression. This is just some gay tumblr poser trying (and failing) to emulate early 2000s internet "nostalgia" with their edgy characters (at least not with some more tweaking to make it more accurate + believable). Not to mention the shitty filters that wouldn't be possible on a vector based program like Flash. The "disturbing" hidden ending near the end is just "ooo wow, Lacey's business is failing, let's switch it over to using disturbing imagery of sex and degenerate substances. Now That's What I Call [FORCED NOSTALGIA HORROR] 25! The zoomers are gonna shit their pants over this one!" This video sucks and anyone who finds this scary or believable should go back to doing retarded dances on TikTok frfr nocap ong.

If 2007 flash games could have had those effects they would have and if this game was real it would have been the lowest tier or garbage on every website it would have been on as there would have been literal hundreds of other flash games that have the same concept and done it significantly better and scarier.

Now for the "undiscovered secret" ending. Waiting a few minutes on the first level and failing? wow I can't believe literally no one in the 16 years of this flash game existing has purposely failed the first level just to see what insult the flash developer would call you for fucking something so simple up or even just to see what happens. Such a believable story

Personally I get the impression that the OP is only a teenager and my opinion softens when I remember being a teenager myself putting out edgy cringe stuff on deviantart. It takes time to get better at art and make more creative stuff. In comparison I find it a lot more embarrassing how Liminal land is a project where two grown men put spooky music and filters over what looks to be AI generated photos and it was launched with aggressive immersion-breaking merchandising on day one.

I was pretty disheartened at how hard this thread was dunking on this video since it's very inoffensive compared to shit like Liminal Land. It's just some kid's pet project they wanted to have fun making, and it gave me the same general feeling that Welcome Home did; which from what I'm aware of the creator did not even intend for it to be an ARG, it's just an art project with some secret stuff. The horror breadtubers forced that label onto it.

In the long run I don't think it matters, since they probably will never see this thread. I'm not saying people aren't allowed to find these things cringe or pick them apart, I'm aware of the website I'm on: I just hope people are able to differentiate benign things like "scary flash game (real)" from egregiously soulless things like the Mandela Catalogue or Liminal Land that are actively harming the creative spaces they're in by just existing.

Why the fuck are so many of these creators sound like troony faggots. This dude sounds like he's on the verge of transitioning but forgot to take the the right dosage amount halfway through causing causing it to sound like he's going through puberty backwards instead.

I know people get hard-ons for true crime shit but to make an ARG about a real actual missing person is beyond fucked up.

That's part of the reason why I stopped watching most of the stuff on Tru-Tv and the like, it came off as weird and sick shit for people to get off to, especially with the high production quality reenactments.

Saw this on YouTube last week and thought it was sorta interesting, but then it went full "Channel 666" on me with all the melting shit and i clicked off, its clearly nothing like old flash games but i will give them credit the art isn't awful.

Speaking of Channel 666, has the creator of that video and the "house tour(?)" video done anything recently?
