Sony hate thread

Just like Hi Fi Rush, shadowdrop shit without any good plan or follow up and see it crash and burn.
More like refuse to release any of your own company's games because they are "too anime" while not actually putting out anything else to replace them.

Saturn was dogshit anyway, it failing made the world a better place.

It really wouldn't surprise me if the vast majority of PS5s were bought as replacements for a broken PS4, with no intention on buying any current PS5 games.
It's quieter right? The complaint I've heard from PS4 owners is the jet engine noise. [game starts, title screen loads] *WHOOOOOOOSH*
Getting a PS5 to play PS4 games(not much else available) could be an upgrade if it doesn't make as much sound.

The Saturn was only released early in the west. In japan it was released in ~november 94 same as the Playstation and they were close to each other in price. SEGA raised the price for their console in the west while Sony cut it significantly.

Shut your whore mouth, faggot. It was SEGA that failed the Saturn, not the other way around.

Compared to N64 or PS1 thats a bucket of trash, fit only for the dump.
The library is definitely less impressive than PS1's but it seems like a closer match between N64 and Saturn's libraries. I haven't played many Saturn games, but there's a lot I'm interested in and seem good. That's not even counting the JP exclusives, a cursory glance shows we missed out on some good stuff.

N64 was mostly a Nintendo and Rare machine, but man I'll take that over Sega and nothin' else any day of the week.

Either way Uncharted is probably best left well enough alone, it had a good run, no need to muck that up, we don't need a game where we play as Drake's daughter or whatever.
What they did with Uncharted pisses me off so much. I heard somewhere that Hennig's original Uncharted 4 was going to end with Drake having a son instead of a daughter, but Druckmann fucked it up. That ending could have been so good too, instead of making it patently obvious it was just a timeskip with his daughter, they could have reused the young Drake model, and done a build-up of the player realizing "oh shit I'm not young Drake again, I'm his son"

His son would have been better, his daughter was fine though, provided that's the ending, it was a fine little coda so long as they don't bring the daughter character back.

It reminds me of Jak and how we never really needed another game or reboot as Jak 3 was the perfect little ending, some series are better served having endings than going on forever, like how in hindsight God of War 3 should have been the finale for that series as was originally considered.

Uncharted 4 in general, despite it flaws, serves as a nice little coda to Naughty Dog's peak in general, 20 years from 1996 to 2016, from Crash 1 to Uncharted 4, that's not a bad run and it's ok to consider ND as over with now.
