Underrated post right here.Bam didn't give him what he needs, but he very possibly did make his ears bleed.
Nah, the Opester always wins. snifffree my nigga bam , he was setup;./
Looks like DSP's long lost brother. Nothing he could do.
Doesn't Dyrdek host that TV show on MTV? Seems successful.I remember how someone told me how Rob Dyrdek was worse than Bam but Jesus H. He’s worse than Dyrdek.
Yesh Ridiculousness. His earlier seasons were better than what he has now.Doesn't Dyrdek host that TV show on MTV? Seems successful.
He'll never do it on his own accord. He still thinks he hasn't done anything wrong. He's probably never been sober his entire adult life.Bam is always so close the path of redemption but all he needs is actually want it and walk said path.

CKY weren’t pop punk though, they were more akin to that “desert”/stoner rock that was en vogue in the 90s. But yeah, it was all to do with those videos. A lot of my friends had the videos, had shirts and hoodies with the logo on it and the only song that ever got played was “96 Quite Bitter Beings”I do remember at least one of my skater buddies who liked the band, but they were more marketing than anything. Plus, a lot of those stickers could be for the earlier version of what would be jackass, called CKY. I suspect most of the stickers are shit they got with those tapes, that's where my CKY sticker was from.
Mid-level punk rock band in the pop punk era, they were never going to be big even if they were great. Plus, I always thought the guys from Blink and the bands like that, they seemed more fun-loving and happy. CKY took themselves too serious at times with their music.
Nah CKY and HIM sucked. Total poser shit, just like everything in skater culture. I had a buddy who swore by them and we were always clowning on him for it.Did anyone really like CKY the band's music.
I remember see lots of skaters with there stickers on there decks but that's all the only place you would regularly hear there music was on Jackass abd that felt like a left over from Bams old video.

Jail would be the best thing that's ever happened to him since he'll dry out whether he likes it on not. These fake 90k rehabs are just weekend getaways.
I don't condone it. But I could almost see continuing to be a piece of shit when you have zero responsibility. But when you have a kid, everything should become secondary to that. Bam isn't going to live that much longer. You'd think it would dawn on him, he should be the dad his son deserves.Always feels like Bam is just one View attachment 5095831 type of moment away from realizing that he is being a shitty son, friend, husband and father. And that he just needs to give them all a hug and a legit apology for his unbearable behavior and that it all ends now. But it seems unlikely at this point.
If Knoxville wasnt able to fix Bam like he was able to fix Steve-O, then he truly is lost.
I recall there was a moment where he legit tried to improve himself by temporarly moving to Europe or something and he was legit showing progress until returning home and just failing into old habits again.
That means one of two things
1- He needed to permanently move away from America, or at least stay there way longer
2- His changes werent that legit or he needed more time for them to stick
Its tragic to imagine maybe he WAS close to improving himself but returning to his toxic enabling environment just made him relapse back into old habits.
Steve-O wasting no time talking about Bam's situation on his podcast Wild Ride. Even funnier when, just as the discussion gets serious, Steve uses it as a transition for an ad from Manscaped. Even Bam's so called "friends" are using him for their own gain. Starts at the 2 minute mark.

The big difference is that Steve O actually wanted to be helped and recognized he had a problem. If someone hasn't hit that point, then you're very unlikely to be able to help them.If Knoxville wasnt able to fix Bam like he was able to fix Steve-O, then he truly is lost.
I've always heard the theory that they let him get away with murder because Vito probably molested him as a kid.Did his parents ever actually discipline him as a child or anything?
Always having a safety net of his parents to clean up his bullshit isn't helping the situation any.The big difference is that Steve O actually wanted to be helped and recognized he had a problem. If someone hasn't hit that point, then you're very unlikely to be able to help them.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Coupled with the fact he became a cash register as a teenager, they weren't about to stand in his way.I've always heard the theory that they let him get away with murder because Vito probably molested him as a kid.
Any kiwis who know train wreck druggies in real life probably know of a similar situation without the “instant millionaire overnight” part. That sounds plausible honestly.I've always heard the theory that they let him get away with murder because Vito probably molested him as a kid.
Steve o doesen't seem to have a toxic ego forcing him to be the coolest guy in the room at all times like Bam has.The big difference is that Steve O actually wanted to be helped and recognized he had a problem. If someone hasn't hit that point, then you're very unlikely to be able to help them.
Yeah, I'm talking mostly when he was a kid before he got famous. It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Coupled with the fact he became a cash register as a teenager, they weren't about to stand in his way.
