I think there is still a real risk of May returning to Ralph because she is most likely still trauma bonded to him and her total lack of insight overall means she can’t really process those emotions without long term professional help. Hopefully Rozy and her are tucked away somewhere and the only people who have a direct line of communication is family. A lot of abused women don’t have that kind of support network, so she is lucky in that regard.

Another challenge is keeping her away from any alogs that want to lure her into some kind of stream or podcast, because this will bring her right back into contact with Ralph and all sorts of unsavory characters (e.g. the entire sektur). May really does seem to lack any sort of solid identity or sense of self and she seems to use social and romantic relationships in lieu of developing one. Whether this is due to some sort of pervasive developmental disorder, personality disorder, or mental health issue, I can’t really tell.
