Realistically why was Simmons crucified but Josie not?
I mean, of course chat and TTS love her and won't make a big deal out of it but production and the other fish should care.
Her stuff is far more graphic and there's no ambiguity over whether hers is intentional.
Can someone provide some reasons even if your just playing devil's advocate, I really don't understand.

To play devils advocate, Simmons wrote his weird book talking about how kids can kiss at camp when he was 24. Josie made her weird guro art when she was 17 also TBH the art doesn't really seem like sex pest shit, it more so seems like edgy art that an autistic 17 year old would make. It isn't groundbreaking shit it is pretty run of the mill stuff. Also Simmons had contact with kids and posted pics of kids on his Instagram whether Simmons is actually a sex pest is for you to decide, but Josie was never shown hanging around kids.

Sam Hyde's fandom/ hatedom is schizopilled. Prior to Charls making up with Sam they were going nuts with how Nick was suicidal because Sam fucked everyone over. How Erik Hayden was never going to talk to Sam again (until he went onto Sam and Nick's podcast.) They took the lowball offer Adult Swim offered Sam when Nick and Charls were trying to get their own show and said it was him sabotaging Nick and Charls.
It basically is that Sam is a spiteful retard who has somehow chained Nick to himself because Nick is a pauper (ignore his antiques business with his wife) who's only staying around so his daughter doesn't starve. Charls and Erik hate Sam, but need to work with him because reasons.

I know nothing about Jet other than he's kind of a loser 25 year old, but I know people who are just turning their life around at like 30.

Vance talking about how he’s playing a character when he’s betraying people last night was a bit weird. You say you’re playing a character when you’re acting, but it seems like he wants to win and is willing to do a lot to get there. I’m not even dissing the drive to win either, because that just means more content, I just don’t like how he wants to simultaneously be the villain manipulating everything behind the scenes while also saying “uhhhhh you can’t get mad at me guys, I’m just a character for entertainment.” It seems like a cheap way to save face.
