Tacitus talks about Christians in his Histories. Pliny, Josephus, Early Church Father Writings, and many others also talk about Christians and even Christ and his disciples. Even the Talmud admits he exists/existed.

It's not something generally contested as a falsehood.

It's more of a "a historian is what I want it to be". There's a lot of extrabiblical and roman accounts of it, but that doesn't mean you have to believe it. I'm just saying there is documentation and acknowledgement that Christianity and the figurehead actually did exist and was acknowledged.
