Sony hate thread

I dare Sony to port Gran Turismo 7 to PC, just out of curiosity with how will it turn out. Will they cheapen out on the port like Sony and Naughty Dog did with TLOU1's port, or will Kaz's autism get to the point that the port takes too long to come out, or something else?
Knowing Kaz I think his autism will gunt guard GT7 to remain on the PS5 for no good reason.

Too bad 90% of the n64 library is unplayable thanks to the awful controller and the framerate issues that means something like 10 N64 games run at 60fps also whats a rpg on the N64.
Unplayable is a huge exaggeration, and the controller is great, I'll never understand the griping over it,

Awkward hand placement, weak analog stick, bulky design.
There's literally nothing awkward about the hand placement whatsoever unless someone is holding it wrong because they have an IQ below a chimp's. It's very comfortable to hold and isn't bulky at all to the hand. The stick is weak but it works well when it's not ruined.

Agreed.. The only times I ever had a problem was the handful of shooters that forced the use of the C buttons for 3D movement. (Turok 1,2&3 I am looking at you) That shit was not ok! ick

The biggest issue with the N64 for me was it's near total lack of RPGs.

I was surprised to see so many people hated or had issues with the Nintendo 64 controller. Was never a problem for me as a kid.
Controls wasn't really important me that much until I've gotten older and realized about N64 controllers were not that good yet something like Gamecube still resonated with me.

N64 controller was good and comfy, but nobody ever talks about how awkward the Genesis controller is. Probably because it's not so apparent in pictures.

It's bigger than it looks. The A button is a bit of a stretch, even by adult man hand standards. It doesn't look so bad in pictures, but the sides really jut out and make the whole thing feel big and clumsy. It's not terrible, but by no means comfortable to use.

Sega really tried too hard with the Genesis. The controller was ok but the hardware is mediocre with music sounding more like farting sounds.

On the plus side, it makes playing games on the Atari2600 easier

And of course the relative lack of buttons. 4 and a D-pad, same as the NES (which it was built to compete against.)

Don't bring up the fight pad, you know damn well nobody had that shit back then.

Yeah, that era started off weird because games started to need dual sticks but none of the big 3 had them by default. It was a huge oversight which made some genres like FPS play oddly. I know 3D was new and everything but you'd think they'd have put a bit more thought into it.

What's always baffled me was Dreamcast sticking with one stick. 6th gen is interesting because it's an obvious evolution point, even more than previous gens. You see the default controllers getting really close to today's standards across the board, but they're each a bit weird in some way aside from PS2 which basically nailed it.

Genesis had a more powerful CPU, but SNES was more powerful in every other way.
The only advantage the SNES actually had was more colours and a background layer that can be scaled if no other background layers are being used. Aside from the CPU, the Genesis also produced higher quality audio and had significantly faster DMA. Hell, the DMA was so much faster, it allows the Genesis to directly stream audio from the cartridge.

Also 3D graphics without enhancement chips.

Can anybody tell me why Sony Fanboys defend God of War Ragnarok?

You know what fuck it, why are Sonytards even defending Sony games in general? To me there is nothing more gayer than defending a multibillion-dollar corporation like Sony especially when they could give less 2 fucks about you.
1. tribal thinking
2. lack of anything of quality actually worth defending

Genesis also produced higher quality audio
Maybe on paper. In practice it mostly sounds like shit aside from standouts like Sonic and Streets of Rage. Almost any game that was multiplatform usually sounded better on SNES if you want to see easy examples for direct comparisons. There's a cool YouTube channel called Console Wars that compares them and the difference is usually pretty big.

Even some of the Sonic games have a few wonky songs.
