I think the "Peterson Method" didn't work out too well. I dunno if they tapered via IV while he was out, but he didn't come back great. I wonder if they did (doubt). If they didn't, I wonder if it would have improved the outcome. I've heard "Coma-Assisted Detox" joked about by smokers, but I had never even heard of it actually done for addiction before Peterson.
