I legit commented on her new agency deal that got her hooked up with SEGA, so I don't blame her. Within a short timespan, they got her in a game and Vshojo just existed without actively pushing boundaries. They are either going to have to actually commit to hiring a new wave or just forfite and foreclose.

Realistically what can they do now? Ironmouse is already bigger than your brand and unless they are covering medical, why stay? Zen is a TTS tranny and if you think marketing your division around someone who doesn't actually speak, you'd have to be brain dead. This leaves us with a coomer who has likely seen the writing on the wall when not being pressed up against it, Froot who'd demand her mother be part of PR and the green haired person who I often forget exists if it wasn't for this thread. Snuffy and Onigiri lucked out not getting hired.

The JP companies largely seem more successful than ever, even some of the smaller corpos are getting to have actual concerts. Some of the EN startups are having success, the failures are not due to a lack of demand as far as I can see, it's all on bad company cultures, management and talents

Machinima was brought out by Warner, Maker via Disney. Whereas Normal Boots was a non-corporate collective (like Girls FC or Vinesauce) that fell apart due to Jon's racial crime stats and the latter reboot featuring ProJared (who'd go on to cheat on his wife)

The deaths are not remotely alike a multi-million dollar entity basically dying within the span of two years.

Unrelated, but it's practically karmic that Jon continues to live comfortably while his former colleagues (who threw him under the bus for attending a debate which he had no experience in) either ended up in obscurity, controversy, or mediocrity.

That's how VShojo marketed themselves; as a group of indy VTubers working under a single banner. Someone else already pointed this out, but they were very much a corporate VTuber company despite appearances.

As for the friends part, the last couple of controversies surrounding then showed the girls are anything and everything but friends to each other, especially with Silvervale being harassed and receiving death threats just for wanting to play a game.

With that said, Hime's not that far behind to go out next, though her not renewing her contract would mean squat since Syd barely, if at all, streams as Hime these days.

That's a fairly broad take. "The Completionist" became a corporate speaker, having recently been hired by Capcom to promote Street Fighter 6 and was involved in the short lived G4 reboot. "Did You Know Gaming?" maintains it's place as mid-filler trivia content that the algorithm loves to push. "ProJared" and his penis remains present in Internet Famous. Really the only notable duds are "Continue?" who never held much ground to begin with and "Satch" who was the new hire at the time, who ended up working for Forbes.
