What do you think will happen to her if she overstays? Probably absolutely nothing. Might have to pay a fine if she attempts to leave the country and they see she overstayed. Maybe police will show up to her door to collect more bribe money, but I doubt it. Some of yall have never lived in a corrupt country where you can just pay to get out of trouble and it shows.

"But but but she's not doing the things I read online you have to do to get citizenship!!!" well yeah, thats why it pays to know a local who knows the unwritten laws aka who to bribe.

First of all, I'm not talking about "getting citizenship" That is virtually impossible for her.

Secondly, yes, people get arrested for overstaying visas. You don't have to "read about it online"; you can also know this by being well traveled (including to corrupt countries).

My post is accurate.

Now that you mentioned this.

I'm honestly shocked that even in her old videos, there doesn't seem to be any footage of this pig constantly scratching/picking her ass. She's objectively that nasty. You all know it. How she isn't constantly itching from drying/dried shit is nothing short of amazing. I think her not wiping (ratface) is also responsible for the gnat clouds in the villa.
I suspect that's what the backscratcher-cum-eating utensil was originally intended for.

Lol. No they don't. Worst that happens is you pay a fine or are barred from re-entering. Arresting someone and keeping them in jail (which the government has to pay for and is more expensive than you think) for overstaying a visa is so fucking dumb. I know you are like desperate to see Chantal jailed or stoned to death cause you hate her but you are grasping at straws.

Bruh c'mon. Is that actually the norm though?? How many Mexicans come to America illegally and raise their children and live out their lives without ever being legal?? Maybe it's different overseas but i don't see how this isn't a thing everywhere. It's obviously frowned upon and it makes it harder to get a visa later if you overstay, but you can get around the law with a lawyer and some cash.
Those people are able to actually physically work and to do so under the table. She wouldn't even be able to work at a nail salon.

Mum has been the word on all this though. I don't think she has even begun to formulate a plan to pull this off, and I don't think Salah s necessarily smart enough to work this out either. There is a third option for her: she could overstay her visa. In that way, she will not be separated from dear habibi. At least, not until she is arrested for overstaying.
I wouldn't be surprised if she tried this option. The daily fine she accumulates for overstaying her visa can just be added to the back tax bill that will never be paid. Remember, she said she "arranged" a payment plan for that, nothing about actually making payments toward it. And if/when it all catches up to her, I can see her hiring a lawyer to plead "mentally and physically disabled" so that it would drag on forever. (Hey, if Nader can keep dragging his court shit out....) Oh, and the lawyer would never get paid either.

But if she does go back to Canada, she damn well better buy two (or even three) seats this time. She can't count on them rearranging the seating for her again. (If they don't, of course, she'll rage about the airline being fat phobic.)

I don't really get your obsession with what I said. I did not say she is guaranteed to be arrested. But as soon as she overstays, she is at risk of being arrested. If you are going to claim that nobody in the world has ever been arrested for overstaying a visa, you are absolutely retarded. That's like saying nobody has ever been arrested for shoplifting. Of course they have, there is no question about it. Is everybody who shoplifts arrested? No.

Regardless of whatever you think my motives are, my point still stands: she has three weeks to figure out how she will close out her current tourist visa and obtain another. If she overstays, she is subject to fine, arrest, and/or deportation. Pure and simple. Yes, you can bribe people, but it isn't nearly as simple as you suggest, because multiple people are involved in issuing and enforcing visas. But that was never my point. My point was: she has 3 weeks left, and if she stays longer, she will be outside of the law. Why that statement is bothering you so much is beyond me.

I truly hope all of you are right about her looking for an out to go back to Canada. I am so bored of the Kuwait arc... as are the rest of you considering this thread has slowed down significantly.

Things I am tired of in Kuwait:
  • Looking at Chantal in a hijab and abaya. It's boring af. We need sparkly skin tight dresses that are 3 sizes too small and cheap wigs that live on the floor.
  • Salad's tardo-esque presence
  • Hookah noises
  • Chantal having nothing to talk about because she had no friends and sits in a windowless fart box alone all day
  • Trash desert scenery
  • Fake modesty
  • Constant insertion of arabic words (yallah lets go!)
Canadian opportunities:
  • Drugs
  • Freedom
  • Shenanigans born of drugs and freedom
  • Awkward interactions with men
  • Torrid hauls
  • Debt avoidance beeze
  • Driving around doing something without salad
  • New infestation... think of the possibilities
  • Couch surfing tensions with family members
  • ER deflection
I know she loves the hijab because she can pretend to be a skinny legend but this has gone on long enough. We deserve a real mcdonalds breakfast rage, throwing the top of an ice cream cone out the window, drug-fueled dancing in the living room, and cpap hijinks.

Inshallah.

An added consideration for chantal is that there are literally countless people who want to see her suffer, or at the very least, held accountable. Countless people who would make any number of phone calls to alert whoever needs to be alerted. Ten or twenty haters? Maybe not so much to worry about. Tens of thousands of people who absolutely revile you? Something to consider.

Not to belabor this point, but maybe it is worth mentioning what the real ramifications of overstaying a visa can be.

First of all, discard any notion of how it is done in America. America has its own, unique, fucked-up and broken system of immigration that has always differed from other countries (see Statue of Liberty, et.al.) Exceptional, you could call it. Other countries are a lot less open to foreigners, and restrict them far more.

In most countries, including Kuwait, there is no "Visa Police" who come knocking on your door when you've overstayed. I wasn't implying that in anything I posted.

But people do get arrested. Usually it is the result of an otherwise innocuous encounter with a police officer. If a cop in a lot of countries sees a foreigner break a minor law, often he will say something. For example, if I were to litter, a cop could come over and tell me not to litter and ask to see my ID (i.e. passport). If everything looks fine, he'll probably give me a warning and let me go. He may issue a ticket if he wants to be a prick. But if he notices I am out of status, he will take me back to the police station. I'm avoiding powerleveling here as much as I can, but when I have been abroad for extended stays, I've had cops force me to get off a bicycle, ostensibly to check if the bike has been stolen. While they were at it, they always asked for my papers. I was even escorted to police stations a couple times when I didn't have a registration for the bike. I was never actually arrested, because I don't steal bikes or overstay visas. But all us tourist-visa expats knew people personally who were busted for all sorts of petty things (trouble in bars the most common one), and then deported or arrested when it turned out their visa was expired. It is a daily part of life if you are living abroad on multiple tourist visas. Sure, every country is different, but not that different. East Asian countries are usually the strictest, but Middle Eastern countries are generally stricter than European. Especially in countries that are relatively homogenous, where foreigners stick out easily. Clotso really sticks out.

Can you bribe a cop? Sure, you can try. But even in corrupt countries, bribery is still illegal. You may try to bribe someone who is steadfastly honest despite corruption in his country, and get arrested for that. Or your paltry bribe might insult the cop, and he hauls you in because the praise he gets from his boss is worth more than your grubby bills. Even the most venal persons often pick and choose what bribes to take; it gives them a sense of power they don't ordinarily have. If your bribe works, and the cop lets you go, then you've got the next cop to contend with some time in the future. As for bribing those who actually issue the visas, it is unlikely El Fatard would know who to bribe or how much; there will be more than one person involved, and there are a lot of crosschecks that need to be neutralized. While a bribe may get you out of a particular jam, it is not a workable long-term strategy and it bears a lot of risk. And while Kuwait may have a lot of corruption, they also have a sophisticated immigration system that doesn't favor legal residents, let alone illegal ones.

So the real problem with overstaying is the sense of paranoia it instills. You know every single day that today could be the day you get busted for riding a bicycle or littering or shooting video in a cemetery or something. Cops become something to fear and avoid, because if they decide to speak to you, they will always want to see your ID. Draw the wrong attention to yourself, and your jig will be up. That is what our heroine is facing if she overstays. That, plus a fine that grows daily. She might get away with it for decades since she mostly stays in the fartbox, but I just don't think so. She isn't really a grey person who can blend in well with the surroundings.

With respect to the visa discussion (sorry Dutch, I don't have permission to reply), I think Salah has much more to lose than Chantal. He isn't a citizen of Kuwait, nor is his father. The risk of being deported back to Serbia feels much harsher than being deported back to Canada. And let's face it, if Chantal were told to leave the Country and never come back, it would HAVE to be a relief for that moron who clearly cannot stand to be in the same proximity as her, for any length of time. And she isn't making very much $$, so how can it be worth it?
She appears to be spiraling fast, and if she doesn't kill herself with food in the next month, her brain is going to be leaking out of her ears. Who is going to fly to Kuwait to escort her home?
