Jon knocks on the door a few times in the first five minutes, and tries the handle, but Vance locked it using the little mini-lock on the handle. For all Jon understands, Vance is doing nothing in there, because Jon has autism and can't perceive the actions of others if he isn't observing them directly (he can't answer the breakfast question). So the next day when Jon has schizophrenia he locks himself in the bathroom and does nothing because he's copping the locking yourself in a room aspect and failing to understand the private performance art aspect of what Vance was doing right after getting the schizo assignment.

Another way is you give a privilege to a certain fish, like Josie wind the challenge so here’s a PS1 with two games, but it’s for Josie. The minute any fish plays with it outside of the presence of Josie a shark destroys it.

I really hope they step it up with the inevitable season 2. There's a lot of good concepts but it's clear stuff wasn't nearly planned out as well as it should have been. I think they've been lucky so far with the contestants because without them naturally being as autistic and retarded it would be a pure disaster. Hope they can find people with thicker skin too because it's clear they're too scared of contestants leaving and coddling them a bit too much, maybe a bigger prize pool would entice future contestants more to stick through shit.

I feel like they need to watch some Nip Game shows. Those tend to be heavy on the suffering and tormenting of their contestants.

Shit like the challenge of the day is ignoring a shark who’s job it is to be a dick, but with the prize being something actually good so they want to put up with someone slapping food out of their hands, throwing shaving cream pies at contestants who are sleeping, or blowing an airhorn at 11 AM.

Honestly, their should be sharks and their should be the catfish. The catfish keep the fish from sleeping all day or secluding themselves too much. The sharks should be non-personalities and the catfish are antagonistic forces.

I assume it’s because there’s a difference between fart spray and bed sores caused by 12 hours of laying in rotting food.

Jet has entered to turn up the heat to 69 degrees and talk to the fish about not whisper away from the microphones so the audience can hear them. He doesn't want them to stop scheming, TTS strategy snitching is no longer allowed, and asked them not to strategize in common areas. TTS keeps interrupting Jet and pissing him off. Jet directly addressing the audience, tells them that strategy snitching will result in a ban, even if coming from a whale. ZERO TOLERANCE.

Jet has been working his ass off the entire time to keep this thing entertaining and keep it from going off the rails. He isn’t the problem, unfortunately.

Jet sitting here explaining stuff about "keeping the viewer in mind" about not whispering so low the camera's can't hear them and stuff. Things that should've been explained day 1.

They're too scared of contestants leaving. They might have more confidence in a season 2, especially if the prize is bigger. They should really be looking at actual reality tv shows more. Also, I was originally dismissive of crew meddling but I think it's paying off a bit with Ben and even the Nick stuff. I do think the Sharks are underutilized, though i'm willing to bet it's partially because the crew are too lazy to get into costume half the time.
