I've said it a few times before, but he didn't mature, he became thin skinned. It's funny you say this, because I had a similar thought watching the video. Ian's old crew of YouTube friends have transitioned to successful careers without being ashamed of their old content. You mentioned Joji, and Anything4Views and MaxMoeFoe are still making content together and have been doing well on the Cold Ones channel.
