TTS going fucking hard on Letty right now. She's been cleaning those cabinets for like 15 minutes now.

They seem to have constantly bounced back and forth between whether they want this show to be hellhouse and driven by artificial torture, or a show where a bunch of retards interact with each other naturally.
I think it's place is becoming one of allowing retards to naturally interact with each other on the basis of collectively enduring the hell house.

It's not a perfect mix. Sometimes I yearn for more torment and other times I wish they'd let the interactions take center stage. In my retarded opinion what is unfolding is groundbreaking and attracts a pretty big audience for such a niche concept.

Letty is not coping well. She is desperate for male attention and not getting it. She already felt betrayed and hurt by Jon but he was her closest ally. TTS rage is focused almost solely on her. With Jon out I think other cast members are gonna stop tiptoeing around each other. Gonna be wild if Sylvia makes it another round because Piss Witch can't handle it. Or maybe she'll bounce back tomorrow.

eta: TTS just mentioned Jon finding Letty's pills with her real name on them, thought that topic was off limits. HELL HOUSE

His ego is gonna get blown out of control again after this, hopefully he learned something from his time on the show (x) and manages the come down better. And hopefully his anti-fans rage elsewhere (at Letty). I remember him saying, to Vance iirc, that he knows getting too cocky is a problem for him. Maybe one of the guys (not Sam) can keep in touch and help him manage his emotions better overall. It seems like he has a good family too, but is desperate for an older brother figure.

Alternatively, autism

It's a shame Jon got kicked the day after they got the idea for public debates. Getting Jon to have debates with the fish on politics, philosophy, theology, etc. would have been so funny. If that Chad guy got invited up and him and Jon had to debate about the best fighting styles, melee weapons, and religion it could have been peak Jontent.

RIP Jon, you will be missed! 🙏🙏🙏

I've come down from the opinion that Jon leaving/getting kicked ruins the show. But it definitely kills my remaining desire to randomly tune in live when Sam isn't in the house. Jon was the source of most of the spontaneity outside of the incursions. I don't know how they keep this going another four weeks even if Jon stayed. You need consistent content to keep people(simps don't count) tuning in and they're going to need to do something drastic to outdo the rollercoaster of the first two weeks.

All of this talk about Jon being gone ruining the show seems flawed to me. I may not be an expert in television or writing, but I can certainly see a path forward for the team to make Fishtank a continued success. Sure, Jontent was a huge appeal - I won't deny that I loved tuning in to listen to him incoherently scream bible verses into a karaoke machine at 8am or kick holes in walls entirely on accident, but at the same time he wasn't carrying the show on his back like people think.

Jon was definitely a lovable idiot but he also directly hindered some developments within the show by making them put on the "kid gloves" for things like TTS, events, etc. I see a world where the gaslighting, manipulation, and psychological warfare intensifies quite a bit since he's no longer on the show, entirely because the producers don't have to worry about either triggering Jon in some capacity or creating a firestorm/autistic rampage. Jon was, ultimately, more of a liability. I think that the producers didn't realize that until Sam noticed how Jon was mimicking his actions/persona.

Some of the more frustrating portions of the show also came directly from Jon, to be honest. The baby challenge was basically pointless in no small part thanks to Jon refusing to care for his baby after Simmons' ousting. Granted, I won't deny that Letty shaking said baby would've doomed any attempt Jon had at redemption by that point, but the producers could've just as easily reset Jon's baby so he could continue the challenge solo. Further, Jon would constantly interrupt, talk over, and dismiss people when they were talking about things he didn't agree with. The producers brought in copies of Simmons' book for some content but Jon, being the way that he was, prevented that from advancing at all.

Ultimately I think Jon was a mixed bag, but the bottom line is really that he gave some great highs to the show but astonishing lows. Some of the least fun content was everyone trying to talk Jon out of whatever mood he opted to be in that day. That said, some hilarious moments happened like the late night debate on gender roles that wouldn't have been complete without the screeching about Manosphere talking points. I'm sad to see him go because there was certainly potential and I think the other fish liked being around him (to a point), but Fishtank was always about the fish and never about Jon himself.

Side note: I'll be making jokes about his Instagram, @businessjack2022, until the day I die.

Going to be interesting going forward, jon just fucking gave up yesterday.
Every person in this hell house is willing to sacrifice their dignity for money, but Jon has his limits. He walks out of that house well loved, well enjoyed and with some of his pride still intact. He walks away a different and more tempered human being.

It doesn’t matter who’s last in that house, Jon already won something that no amount of money could buy.

The adoration and pride he never had going into it.
