Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

Being noticed by an actor once again makes me ask… how do sane, normal people even run across Patrick?

This time I’m asking the thread instead of myself. Did he get clout being a Trump replyguy?
Hold onto your underpants...Pat is nothing special. I am sure if you think back to all the people you have known, someone will fit a similar bill as Fat.

He just got noticed is all, his thread was quiet for a long while as well, very few Patposters.

Someone I went to school with is much like Pat, wannabe badass. Less political shit, but otherwise much the same.

Patrick: "everyone you hate loves Ayn Rand":

It's true!

Rick must have been the type of 20 year old who said he liked Ayn Rand because he saw people who thought they were smart acting like assholes carrying around Atlas Shrugged and thought, "there's a guy who thinks he's better than everyone else and is reading such a thick book! Now that's what an intellectual looks like."

Rand makes mediocre people act like they're geniuses without anything but their egos to back it up, of course Piggy fell for it. He's her perfect man, an unmatchable architect of his own failure, this thread a monument to the accomplishments of pigheaded determination.

I was a Libertarian before getting to know Libertarians. They obsess over Rand and Milton Friedman until you realize that the whole underpinnings of their intellectual arguments were two Jewish authors telling you that people are cattle and it doesn't matter if they die so long as you, the chosen ones, come out on top because you're the ones who really make the system run and they're disposable.

How does one actually register on the OnA forums?

I am stuck on the registration page due to the stupid Captcha program
Don't know about OnA forums specifically but I had a similar problem on another site recently and it went away when I used Firefox instead of Chrome. You'd think it would be the other way around but who knows.

All of that is why I was curious. What he did to stand out intrigued me.

While I still retain AnCap tendencies (show me a government that can manage an economy well), my biggest break with Libertarian thought was realising people a) can't rule themselves and b) don't want to rule themselves.
Patrick probably gave up Objectivism when he came across too many words he didn't understand in Atlas Shrugged.
